Farm Curl

Farm Curl is a long standing curling bonspiel that has taken place in the community for over 65 years. The Vermilion Farm Curl originated as the Massey-Ferguson Bonspiel hosted by Webb's Machinery. The bonspiel has seen many changes over the years, with the most recent revision having the Vermilion Agricultural Society host the bonspiel with the partnership of the Vermilion Curling Club starting in 2016. It's a group of dedicated Vermilion Ag Society members who are also Curling Club members who have planned and coordinated the bonspiel for the past three years, taking the bonspiel back to its agricultural roots. The goal of our event is "Celebrating our farmers through sportsmanship & fellowship"With the support of the Vermilion Agricultural Society, the bonspiel is once again seeing full participation and engagement from the community. The bonspiel attracts not only farmers, but community members who compete in this friendly and exciting event. It is with community partnerships that we will continue to host a successful and thriving Farm Curl for many years to come.
