When I started this business, I decided that I want to make a difference in the lives of women all over the world; big dream, huh? I didn’t want to become someone who works in this industry for the money or the chance to work from home. I want to create change in the way my clients see themselves. So many women out there have a distorted idea as to what beauty really is. We’re told beauty lives in makeup, hair products, or even Botox treatments. But we’ve been fooled, mislead, and quite simply lied to. There are teenagers out there peeling through magazines, checking out the stick-thin models with their perfect skin and frizz-free hair thinking to themselves how they’d give anything to look that way. We grow up with this perception of perfection in our mind, and it’s almost impossible to let go.
If you ask any random woman on the street if she considers herself beautiful, what do you think she’ll say? Only four percent of women around the world consider themselves beautiful. That’s a depressingly low number. If you ask how many of those women feel any type of pressure to be beautiful, 72% of them will answer with a definitive yes. That’s unacceptable in my world. Beauty is not something you can hold in your hand or create with Photoshop. Beauty is a feeling; a deep fire that burns within our core, reminding us that we are strong and confident women who deserve a place on this planet.
Feel beautiful Boudoir is committed to making a difference in what women see when they look in the mirror. It’s time to reclaim our feminine energy and display it proudly. Eighty percent of women claim they see something beautiful in others that the subject doesn’t see in themselves. It’s time for us to stand together as real women and declare that we will not only harness the beauty that lives within us, but incorporate it into our everyday lives at any chance we get.
You are strong. You are unique. You are intelligent. You are you, and that means you are beautiful. Take a moment to step in front of the lens and allow us to prove it to you. I’ve never had an unsatisfied client, and that’s because I don’t focus on sexy poses or curvy bosoms. I focus my lens on your inner beauty, which shines through more then you ever thought possible.
