I've made the mistake of going to this place again. It doesn't matter who your server is they are always rude. They must pay really well because the servers are clearly not working for tips. We were told that the flames game couldn't be turned on because football was on instead. Someone needs to tell them that at 8 on a Saturday night in Calgary people want to watch hockey. So if 1. you want poor service and 2. you don't want to watch hockey then this is the place for you.

I just went back again and had Kya as a server. She was amazing! If you try this place sit in her section.

Living right near by Fiddler's Courtyard I would go to this pub fairly often, usually on wing night. However a few weeks ago will be the last time I ever go to there.
I sat at the bar with my husband and ordered some wings. The bartender asked to see our ID's which even though we are both 30 isn't too abnormal since we both look kind of young. The bartender was fine with my husbands ID but gawked and laughed at mine, then walked around the bar passing it around to many other waitresses who all gawked, laughed, and pointed at me as well. She returned my ID to me saying she couldn't accept it because it doesn't look like me with a snide look on her face. I showed her the other cards in my wallet with my name on them but she still wouldn't serve me. It definitely is my ID.
I went back home.. since I live about 2 blocks away.. and picked up my passport to show her. The bartender and the other waitresses proceeded to do the exact same thing. I couldn't believe it! I understand not wanting to serve minors, but after showing her literally every ID and card I had she still handed my passport to other staff while they all pointed and sneered at me. Also I'm 30 years old! It's not like I've just turned 18 or anything. All I wanted was some wings, I wasn't even going to get an alcoholic drink!
Without any apology about constantly laughing at me, she handed me my passport saying hesitantly that she would serve me, but my ID's don't look like me....which is crazy because THEY ARE ME!
I felt very hurt and can't believe how I was treated. It never feels good to be pointed, laughed at, and treated like a criminal for no reason at all. Especially because many of those servers have served me in the past. I even had my birthday party there which gained the restaurant the money of 30+ people who ordered food and drinks all night. Talk about regrets. I will never be back.

Good food and pretty good service. Can be busy and noisy esp. during sports events on TV. Seating only moderately comfortable. Reasonable facsimile of an English pub. Parking is limited and can be difficult.

Good wings, good atmosphere, good service! Music trivia on Saturdays, we had a great time!

Fiddler's is your typical neighborhood Irish pub. Name-That-Tune on Saturdays is pretty fun, check it out.

I've come to Fiddler's religiously on Wednesdays for the Wings. Today (Wednesday) I was informed that I could only enjoy ONE order of wings per BEVERAGE purchased. Thanks for the heads up on the new rule, I'll be happy to go for wings with my friends at a new location.
I usually drink more beers than orders of wings but I prefer to stuff myself with wings first.....

One of our favorite local pubs in Bridgeland. Prices are terrific. Tuesday and Thursday $7 ribs. Fall off the bone yummy. Fridays $10 fish and chips. Sundays $10 beef dip. All fresh and excellent quality. Fiddlers draft $5.
Looks rough but who cares. Feel at home and watch some sports. Lovely staff too.

Fun night. Over priced drinks. Terrible server.
