The food is lovely (although the chicken wings were smaller and less juicy, but still very tasty), the drinks great and when Doug Taylor plays, the music is the best.

Never once had bad service or food here! Always fast, friendly and VERY tasty! This is our favorite spot when we go to Calgary! Only complaint - there isn't one in Lethbridge!!

It was music trivia night and we had a blast! Food was excellent!

Have been there three times now on Wednesday nights for karaoke. Bartender knew our drink orders from our first visit! Food has been great with large portions and tasty. Perhaps there have been some changes since these other negative reviews. Have been very happy with the experience!

Food was excellent as well as our server Sherice. Everything was fantastic. Enjoyed our late lunch/early dinner.

Nice atmosphere. Food is ok. We had fish and chips which was really good but a club sandwich that didn't have much chicken in at all and a ceased salad that looked a little old. It's a nice place and staff are great but I think the food can be hit and miss.

Had a late supper after watching a movie. The Butter Chicken Boxty and the Salmon Pie were quite good. Even at the late hour, the waitress was attentive and provided quick service.

the waitress was very pleasant - the owner is an idiot. Would not allow my 82 year old mother to eat off the kids menu - instead felt it was necessary for her to order a meal that is more than double what she can eat. This WAS one of my husband's and my favorite restaurants but I never again will go there because of this attitude. So instead of offering my mother an option to purchase an $8 kids menu (instead of about double the price for a meal she could not eat) they will lose out on a couple of regular customers. I went to A&W - bought her a $2 buddy burger, she barely ate half of that - but I would much rather throw away 1/2 of a $2 burger than more than 1/2 of a $15 one. Shame on you Fionn MacCool's - that is crappy crappy customer service and I don't know how you could possibly keep your doors open with such incredibly poor attitude.

I am doing my best to spread the word to NOT go to your establishment unless changes to this 'menu selection' attitude and a huge apology is made.

Our waitress was good and very tentative. Unfortunately the food was not that great. I had fish with poutine. The fish was bland needed something. Now my curry was not upto par. I mean this with all respect. But they have changed out the menu and now it's apparent that the food has suffered.



Butter chicken with naan and rice.



Scabby tiny pieces of brown meat chicken in what can only be described as a jar sauce- a pre made centralized cook-in sauce from a jar. 3 teeny pretentious triangles of flat bread (not naan) with a scoop of rice. Oh they sprinkled it with peas- yeah that's real pretty.

Service was slow. Over priced beer. Undercooked food. Manager offered to compensate and didn’t take the right item off the bill. If at Crossiron mills I recommend Boston Pizza.

Interesting to see the other lousy reviews!! Seems to be a theme! We stopped in here today for lunch. The first bites were tasty but the food came out room temperature so we sent it back. The second batch came out warm so we ate it. When the bill came we were expecting a discount for the hassle but they charged us full price. We asked for a manager and "Pam" came to our table with a huge attitude!! We explained why we wanted a discount and she was annoyed but said she would "see what she could do" She adjusted our bill by giving us $1.50 off our total!!! Then to add more insult the server commented on how cheap we were when we didnt leave a tip!!! Unreal!!! Cold food and a lousy unproffesional response from the manager and we are still expected to tip!!! Avoid this place. Go to the food fair or BP or Milestones!! We won't be back!!

If there was a lower star I would give it. We went there for dinner (three girlfriends) and one person's meal tasted moldy. She barely ate one forkful and spit it into her napkin. The waitress was was called over and was told it tasted moldy, her response, it's the herbs they use... moldy herbs? No apology was offered just asked would you like something else? We had to ask to see the menu to see what was on ti since we had not memorized it. My friend chose something else and it was not good either so she barely ate any of it. When the bill came it said the original item was "on us" and the price removed. Of course it was "on them" she didn't eat it!!! The second item was on the bill. I asked if there was a discount or something to be offered since the original meal was bad. No said the the waitress you ordered something else. I told her that I would have expected a discount for my friends meal or something, and the reply we got was "we can't just give away free food". So I asked to see the manager, same response. Super disappointing, not even an apology,. I wrote to the company and received a we are sorry we will check into this email to which I replied, please do and let me know the outcome. Nothing since. No surprise. We will never eat there again.

When the waitress came by I asked her if the salad was supposed to come with the items and she was super apologetic and said yes, there is a new person in the kitchen and she would take care of it. I thanked her. Lo and behold not only did the salad reappear made properly, but a few minutes later the manager came by and apologized again to which I replied, not a big deal, I understand mistakes happen and he said well the salad is on the house. This, Fionn MacCool's is how you treat a customer!! Bravo BP I will go back to BP and I will sing their praises, whereas I will tell anyone I know not to go to your restaurant. Brutal service, and you obviously do not care about your customers.

I was not impresses at all with the shepard pie yorkies...i cut them in half and adked myself wheres the beef? Plus the whipped potatoes were mixed with cream corn which was disgusting...the Caesar salad was so gross. I wont be returning needless to say...

So instead of offering my mother an option to purchase an $8 kids menu (instead of about double the price for a meal she could not eat) they will lose out on a couple of regular customers. So instead of offering my mother an option to purchase an $8 kids menu (instead of about double the price for a meal she could not eat) they will lose out on a couple of regular customers. I went to A&W - bought her a $2 buddy burger, she barely ate half of that - but I would much rather throw away 1/2 of a $2 burger than more than 1/2 of a $15 one. Shame on you Fionn MacCool's - that is crappy crappy customer service and I don't know how you could possibly keep your doors open with such incredibly poor attitude.

I am doing my best to spread the word to NOT go to your establishment unless changes to this 'menu selection' attitude and a huge apology is made.

I wish to now add that with THIS great attitude I will likely come back - admittedly likely not with my mother but I do feel better about the 'customer service' perspective.

Our waitress was good and very tentative. Unfortunately the food was not that great. I had fish with poutine. The fish was bland needed something. I did not receive any sauce for fish, which I had to ask for. We also had Caesar salad which was just ok. I would be interested to see there supper menu to see what the other choices would be to eat. It wasn't terrible but it certainly could of been much better. I will go back again and try something else just to see if it was a off day.

Ordered a Caesar to drink .... my gawd! Learn how to make a drink!!! Burnt my mouth and there was no Worcestershire in it. Had to get a side of Clamato and sauce just to drink it!

Ordered Appie's. And Entré's arrived first.

Was informed that our first course would be removed from our bill.

So... Appie's later our meals arrived.

Now my curry was not upto par. I mean this with all respect. But they have changed out the menu and now it's apparent that the food has suffered.



Butter chicken with naan and rice.



Scabby tiny pieces of brown meat chicken in what can only be described as a jar sauce- a pre made centralized cook-in sauce from a jar. 3 teeny pretentious triangles of flat bread (not naan) with a scoop of rice. Oh they sprinkled it with peas- yeah that's real pretty.

Service was slow. Over priced beer. Undercooked food. Manager offered to compensate and didn’t take the right item off the bill. If at Crossiron mills I recommend Boston Pizza.

Interesting to see the other lousy reviews!! Seems to be a theme! We stopped in here today for lunch. The first bites were tasty but the food came out room temperature so we sent it back. The second batch came out warm so we ate it. When the bill came we were expecting a discount for the hassle but they charged us full price. We asked for a manager and "Pam" came to our table with a huge attitude!! We explained why we wanted a discount and she was annoyed but said she would "see what she could do" She adjusted our bill by giving us $1.50 off our total!!! Then to add more insult the server commented on how cheap we were when we didnt leave a tip!!! Unreal!!! Cold food and a lousy unproffesional response from the manager and we are still expected to tip!!! Avoid this place. Go to the food fair or BP or Milestones!! We won't be back!!

If there was a lower star I would give it. We went there for dinner (three girlfriends) and one person's meal tasted moldy. She barely ate one forkful and spit it into her napkin. The waitress was was called over and was told it tasted moldy, her response, it's the herbs they use... moldy herbs? No apology was offered just asked would you like something else? We had to ask to see the menu to see what was on ti since we had not memorized it. My friend chose something else and it was not good either so she barely ate any of it. When the bill came it said the original item was "on us" and the price removed. Of course it was "on them" she didn't eat it!!! The second item was on the bill. I asked if there was a discount or something to be offered since the original meal was bad. No said the the waitress you ordered something else. I told her that I would have expected a discount for my friends meal or something, and the reply we got was "we can't just give away free food". So I asked to see the manager, same response. Super disappointing, not even an apology,. I wrote to the company and received a we are sorry we will check into this email to which I replied, please do and let me know the outcome. Nothing since. No surprise. We will never eat there again.



Tonight my husband and I went out to BP and the salad I ordered seemed to be missing a couple of items. When the waitress came by I asked her if the salad was supposed to come with the items and she was super apologetic and said yes, there is a new person in the kitchen and she would take care of it. I thanked her. Lo and behold not only did the salad reappear made properly, but a few minutes later the manager came by and apologized again to which I replied, not a big deal, I understand mistakes happen and he said well the salad is on the house. This, Fionn MacCool's is how you treat a customer!! Bravo BP I will go back to BP and I will sing their praises, whereas I will tell anyone I know not to go to your restaurant. Brutal service, and you obviously do not care about your customers.

I was not impresses at all with the shepard pie yorkies...i cut them in half and adked myself wheres the beef? Plus the whipped potatoes were mixed with cream corn which was disgusting...the Caesar salad was so gross. I wont be returning needless to say...

The food is lovely (although the chicken wings were smaller and less juicy, but still very tasty), the drinks great and when Doug Taylor plays, the music is the best.

Never once had bad service or food here! Always fast, friendly and VERY tasty! This is our favorite spot when we go to Calgary! Only complaint - there isn't one in Lethbridge!!

Have been there three times now on Wednesday nights for karaoke. Bartender knew our drink orders from our first visit! Food has been great with large portions and tasty. Perhaps there have been some changes since these other negative reviews. Have been very happy with the experience!

Food was excellent as well as our server Sherice. Everything was fantastic. Enjoyed our late lunch/early dinner.
