About Firething Theatre Collective

"Art is a ripening, an evolution, an uplifting which enables us to emerge from darkness into a blaze of light. " - Jerzy Grotowski

Firething Theatre Collective Description

Making poor theatre to ignite the riches of the earth:

Firething Theatre Collective is a process-oriented physical theatre LAB with ongoing workshops to promote collaboration and community expansion aiming to gather a core group and produce immersive and experimental projects.

This will include but not be limited to: Viewpoints and Suzuki, Grotowski, Lecoq exercises, Artist's Way creative cluster, grant writing workshops and other types of collective creation workshops. As well as promoting other local workshops / auditions / gatherings of the same vein.

Firething Collective is the dreamy, spiritual love-child of Jozel Bennet and Katherine Krampol, conceived in Vancouver BC in 2010, now an east coast incarnation in Halifax, NS.

We have the kind of faces made for surveillance television.
