First Choice Haircutters

Fast service. NO quality. My right side around the ears did not match my left side. I went back and they still could not get it right. I had to go home and my wife fix it for me. Worst haircut.

Rachel was super nice and she did a wonderful job cutting my hair. She did what I requested and didn't cut off too much. What I loved as well she didn't try and up sell the products like most salons, which is annoying. Thumbs up to Rachel, Thank you again for such a wonderful job and I will be going back every time I need a hair cut :) The prices are affordable, around 20 dollars depending if your getting a wash or your hair styled. Its not like those other salons that charge you 50 and up.. and for what ha-ha I really liked the atmosphere of this place and all the ladies seem really cool :)

Seen Penny today and she is amazing so down to earth and she jokes around. She makes you feel at home. She did a wonderful job on my hair cut. I totally recommend her 😀great job Penny!

“Last Choice Haircutters where you’re always made to feel Second Class”

CUSTOMER BEWARE of horrible customer service. I have come here for a long time because it is near my home and because I am very please with one particular hairdresser that does my hair. In fact, I often wait for her. Whenever I have anyone else do it here it is pretty average so I asked for her again today even though she was busy. The manager/hairdresser tells me she will be ten minutes which is fine with me. Soon after another customer comes in for a coloring so the manager/hairdresser takes that customer to the back to get started. When the hairdresser who I was waiting for is done she is called to the back by the manager/hairdresser. I see my hairdresser go to the back and starts talking to the person who is waiting to get her hair colored. Then I see the manager/hairdresser come to the front to grab her stuff and I ask her, “Am I going to have to wait another ten minutes?” which she replies, “No, she’ll be with you in just a second” and then leaves. Then my hairdresser comes and tells me that her manager had to leave so I will now have to wait until she finishes adding the color to that customer before she can start my hair cut. I told her that that was not okay and left.

So, because the manager/hairdresser wants to leave she tells another hairdresser to do her job and make the other customer who had already been waiting 15 minutes to wait another half hour; even though he had come in ahead of the person getting their hair colored. This is completely unprofessional and more so rude; almost made me feel like a second class citizen. They’ve known me here a while and it didn’t make the slightest bit of difference. It is hard to believe that in such a competitive industry, especially now that barber shop have made a huge come back, that a salon like this would treat one of their few male regulars with such disregards.

Needless to say, I am never going back. It saddens me because I actually really like my hairdresser but I am sure in short time she’ll find another salon worthy of her skill instead of this unprofessional hole in the wall. TO THE MANAGER who pushed away her valued customer thank you for making First Choice Haircutters my last choice.

NOT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS

I was absolutely offended when I walked in this morning to this location. A lady named Kathy was at the front and took one look at me and said 'I can't do your hair, too curly!' She did not touch or feel my hair nOr did she notice it was just below my shoulders in length. Maybe she refuses to do all mixed race hair, who knows. Either way, awful experience there today. If you can't do all hair.... find a different profession

Worst experience of my life. Hair was uneven, they took chunks out of my hair and cut it way to short. I asked for a couple inches off and she took off 5+ don't ever go here. They don't know what they are doing especially with long hair. Save your money and go somewhere like chatters they fixed my hair and now it looks ok but I'd give first choice no stars if I could. I've heard and seen nothing but bad hair cuts and bad experiences from here

Won't see anyone but Kimberly. I have dark curly hair. She is amazing at cutting my curly hair. She also does amazing at bleaching bottom for funky colors. She has never dried my hair out. Just love her. Thanks Kimberly. Please. So she does my family of 5. She will be our stylist for life.

I was in first choice last week. I have debated on this all week but decided to share my experience. I had my hair cut by a girl named Suna or something she never said. Could not read it on my receipt. She was blond with an accent hard to understand. Firstly I would like to say I have been going to first choice for years. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. This time was different. The girl was rude and almost arrogant. I felt like she was doing me a favor by cutting my hair. The haircut was crooked. My daughter pointed it out when I got home. I did not want to go back to get it fixed. I did not feel like she would apologize or fix it without rolling her eyes. I was uncomfortable the whole haircut and couldn't wait to leave. She was talking to other stylists who were screaming about how they loved this song. Dancing saying I love the song and I don't care. It was loud and a horrible experience. I will never go back on a Sunday again! From Karen
