I have been a childcare provider since 2010, I ran a licensed daycare until 2013 when I moved to Alberta from Chilliwack BC. I re-opened my dayhome in July 2016 here in Spruce Grove Alberta. I am here to network, be a resource and to meet parents potentially interested in joining or that have joined my dayhome family.

At First Steps Family Dayhome I recognize that daycare is often a home away from home for many children. I have been a busy full time working mom for the last 3 years, I know how challenging balancing work, daycare and home life can be. Please rest assured that I have been on both sides of the coin and I am a very easy going, flexible person that knows how hard it is to leave her kids with someone else all day. I am a positive and nurturing person with a desire and passion for quality child care. My home is bright and clean, and created for the children. I love what I do and I take pride in being in the childcare industry. I am a mom to a blended family of 2 girls aged 12, and 7 and a 2 year old toddler boy. I will treat your children with the love and respect I do my own. At First Steps, children will be encouraged to learn through play. Your childs emotional, social and physical health is important to me.

I offer a structured day with daily activities that include; free play, dress up, music, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor time, games and puzzles and much more. I also like to take the kids on field trips, such as, farms, lakes, and walks to the park. Parents can feel comfortable knowing that all car seats are Transport Canada approved and installed by myself, a certified Child Passenger Safety Tech.
