I've taken my Minature Schnauzer in for a second opinion. The vet was fabulous and decided to take all of my 3 dogs there. We took our brand new pup and again the Vet was super nice. She loved our puppy and she didn't charge us for the appointment because it was only a meet and greet. Prices are far better than my last Vet.

Dr Devin Nobert is absolutely wonderful! I've been visiting this vet for years, and have never received anything less than excellent care. Most recently I brought my puggle in for a broken, possibly infected, nail. Dr Devin handled both Roxy and myself with kindness and compassion. His calm demeanor helped keep my dog as calm as possible, which is quite the feat as she's quite a bit of a stress case. Their prices are also very reasonable.

Every time I have been here I feel the doctors, nurses and reception sincerely care about me and my pets. I've had to take 2/3 of my animals here and have them admitted overnight and both times they were thorough, went over things very clearly with me and seemed quite genuine. This is my go to when my fur babies are sick and it's after hours of our regular vet. The only thing I do not like about these guys is the wait time on the phone and phone updates in general, if they say they will call you back in 30-40 minutes they mean closer to 3 hours and when they say you'll get a call later in the morning they mean mid afternoon. Other than that an overall great facility and staff.

Great, caring and compassionate vets. I brought my puppy here when he got super sick. They were kind, informative and didn’t pressure me to make choices. I’m the end, they made my little pup better and he’s a happy healthy (albeit annoying) young dog :)

The staff and vet that helped out my cat were very kind and clear. They walked me through the different options we had then through estimates on both the high end and low end. Once we had decided on what to do I was required to put down a deposit. I understand that some people are upset with deposits and costs but it is necessary. Unfortunately, there are awful people out there that will not pay or abandon their animals. This is why they collect a deposit. Make sure you are clear on everything before you agree to do anything. You are also paying to have emergency services and keep the place open 24/7. I'd definitely recommend them and their prices are comparable to the CARE centre but I found Fish Creek more clear in what was going on and how much it would cost. I also found them more organized than the CARE centre.

Literally one of the best emergency hospitals in the city.( As long as you aren't needing a specialist) Fish creek is trustworthy and they also are so organized. All the doctors I've had, have been amazing. Reception staff is friendly. I recommend fish creek over other cemergency clinics because there is no emergency fee jsut their standard consult fee. I really appreciate that because insurance does not cover the emerge fee or the consult fee.

The care provided was really good and they were friendly and informative. Thats about the only positive thing I have to say about them. We brought our animal in because of some medical issues, and they correctly diagnosed the problem, and provided an estimate of how much it would cost. The price was WAY out of our price range and we asked about other options. They suggested a diet, but this would take up to a year. We asked if there was ANYTHING else they could recommend, they basically said "save up for it". They were NOT RESOURCEFUL at all. They are a business first, and animal care second. After doing a little bit of research (literally 15 mins) we found out that some places will help with subsidizing costs of surgeries, and smaller towns in southern Alberta provide the exact same service for a FRACTION of the price. Of course, they wouldn't suggest going anywhere else because they want the money (and I guarantee you they know the places that charge way less than them). Not only was Dr. Son kind of rude when discussing options, and made us feel inadequate, she was not helpful AT ALL with suggesting alternatives when there are clearly many (as new pet owners, we were not aware). Wont be back. Ever. Will be supporting smaller town local vet clinics even if I have to drive a little further.

I have taken three of my pets here (I have five)...and one of my clients kitties, and mother clients dog here!! They are incredible! When our kitty instantly gulped the string on her string/mouse toy...before we could grab her! We looked online and saw that there was a mixture with hydrogen peroxide that we could give her to induce vomiting (as long as it was within 2 hrs of her eating it). But it didn't work. So we promptly took her to the 24-Hr clinic closest to our home. There, they refused to induce vomiting (even though it had only been 45 minutes)...and recommended that they rush her into surgery to remove it! We were not comfortable with that at all. When there was a chance she could pass it on her own. So we took her here right after, and the staff was amazing!! They unfortunately couldn't induce the vomiting because it was now past two hours. But gave us detailed things to look for, and told us everything we needed to do to make sure we knew what to look for if the string became obstructed, and to take her in right away. In the meantime, they gave us a timeline to wait for it pass through her stool. Which it did a few days later!!! Saving us thousands of dollars, and our little kitty a major intrusive surgery!! We've taken our other pets here for those last minute things that always seem to come up in the middle of the night when you have five!! And they have been amazing every time!! So grateful for their care!!! So that we can bring our pets for the best care possible - any time of day!!

We couldn't have been treated better. Our little girl had a terrible night battling cancer, and we knew we had to get her in and stop her pain. The hospital got us in as soon as possible. Treated us with the utmost kindness, as we were emotional wrecks. I would recommend Fish Creek Pet Hospital to anyone.

We, unexpectedly, had to say goodbye to our beloved fur baby, Watson, last week and Dr. Lisa Scott made the journey almost bearable. We were given all the information we needed to make the tough decisions, and she treated us with great care and consideration.
We were able to grieve privately and they were so respectful as we took our time to come to grips with what was happening, to say goodbye to Watson, and allowing us as much time as we needed. They even provided a private door for us to leave from so we didn't have to face a barrage of strangers as we left.
A few days late we received a very touching card from Dr. Scott sending her condolences.
Even though this was a very traumatic day for us I cannot recommend this hospital enough. Their kindness and compassion has helped us look back on a painful day knowing that we did everything we could so for our kid.
Thank you.

My kids and I took our family cat into this clinic at 9pm on a Sunday night. The wait wasn't to bad considering they had a busy waiting room. We had to have blood work and other tests done, but wasn't long for the results once complete. Although our outcome was a sad one, Dr. Devin and the staff at this clinic treated our pet with the utmost respect and care. My children and I were very upset. They allowed us time alone in the room with our Luke and didn't rush us in saying our goodbyes to him. They were very compassionate, especially towards my kids. The people at this clinic made our tough night seem a little more bearable. Prices were really reasonable too considering what was done. Dr. Devin knew money was tight and helped out with the cost of euthanasia, which was a very sweet and compassionate thing to do. Thank you Dr. Devin and team.

Fish Creek has some great doctor's, nurses and assistants that will treat your animal as their own. Some of the people there I wouldn't want handling my animal.
Working there has mixed emotions. Communication is very poor and moral is very low. However, majority of the people are awesome. There are some people who work there that boggle my mind as to why they still have a job. Melissa Ashby was the worst manager I have ever had. Lazy, rude, actually puts you down, starts high school gossip, and every time I would call her she would ignore my call, listen to my voice mail and then text back 30 seconds later. I started texting her instead and she would get mad as it's not policy. I think this place as potential to be amazing but it needs an office clean up.
