Foothills Community Counselling

Being responsive to community need is important to us, and we meet that need with high-quality counselling services that are delivered at an affordable rate. We have had the pleasure of seeing many successes through our counselling program and we want to build on that success by reaching more residents. Foothills Community Counselling was designed to be accessible, not only to our rural residents, but to all demographics: seniors, children, youth, couples, families, and adults. Our highly trained counsellors bring a variety of experience and knowledge and offer flexible hours to meet the need of our residents. Foothills Community Counselling is situated in the FCSS Resource Centre in central High River, which allows for access to a wide range of community supports and resources, beyond what FCC offers. Counselling services are offered on a fee scale and are based on what residents can afford. Residents may also claim counselling services through their benefits plan if they have one - each benefit plan is unique so it is important to check with your benefits provider. Foothills Community Counselling is proud to provide practicum placements for Master's students. Asking for help or seeking someone to talk to can be difficult, but finding that help shouldn't be. Foothills Community Counselling is our rural solution to ensuring our residents have the support they need to thrive.
