Formation Fluid Technology

Formation Fluid Technology (FFT) is a developer and service provider of industrial wastewater treatment plants. Our principal focus and goal is to cost-effectively solve significant wastewater challenges by minimizing total water lifecycle costs for industry and the environment thru "Collaborative Water Management". We design, fabricate, and commission equipment for new projects. FFT also provides services for troubleshooting existing problems with already in-place systems. FFT‘s Hydro-Cycle mobile units are highly flexible and can be scaled to treat varying flow rates and contaminates. These systems are designed to treat industrial wastewaters to meet or exceed CCME Guidelines (Canadian Environmental Quality Guidelines) resulting in safe reusable or recyclable water for operational requirements or surface discharge /aquatic release. The Hydro-Cycle is a modular commercial system comprising of three interchangeable units of filtration equipment. Each treatment unit has many stand alone applications. All units in the Hydro-Cycle System can treat water at 1m3 per minute (>6. 0 BBL /min). The Hydro-Sep is an oil-water separation unit that is capable of filtering the water down to 1 micron and approximately 20ppm of hydrocarbon. The Hydro-Clear is a media based treatment capable of cleaning water to less then 1 micron. This unit will remove 99% of bacteria, viruses, organics, low amounts of hydrocarbon and particulates. The Hydro-Pure unit is a reverse osmosis system that will remove dissolved solids to 500 ppm or lower. This final stage of our Hydro-Cycle System enables us to return recycled waste water back to nature.
