Life Skills for the 21st Century
What kinds of life skills will your child need to be successful - happy, healthy, and productive - in the 21st century? Beyond facts, figures, and formulas, what will young people need to know to find their way and make their mark in a world which increasingly demands higher order thinking, social intelligence, and self-organizing abilities? In this workshop for parents Jonathan Wolff, international Montessori consultant, teacher and school leadership educator, will illustrate how the Montessori Method not only produces capable scholars, but more importantly, empowers young people to think for themselves, think of others, and think out-of-the box.

Over the past two weeks l have been stopped a few times in the school hallway and the most common question has been. "What has my child been learning?"Though a simple question it is bit difficult to answer.The clip below summarises montessori grace and courtesy lessons that tie into the peace curriculum. These are everyday lessons that are priceless but help establish a peacefull harmonial classroom,school and global community.

Most often new parents ask about mixed ages in our classroom. No better way to build empathy, Self esteem,leadership and mentorship skill.

WEEK TWO CAMPS
Welcome to week 2 camps. We look forward to see all campers who registered on our face book link this week.
We have accepted all students that signed up and we look forward meeting the campers.
... Campers who require early drop off as early as 6am till 8.15am please drop off at our Silin Campus center @ unit 1-400 Silin Forest Road. This is at the leasure center of Cedarwood Condominiums in Thickwood.
The rest of the campers scheduled for 8.30am to 11.30am 8.30am to 4.30pm 1.30pm to 4.30pm, should be dropped off at Westview Elementary school.The location is 407 Wolverine Drive.
There is no access through the main school doors since the rest of the school is still under construction. Please use the side entrance by the basketball courts towards the back.
If you have difficulty locating the doors please call 780-804-3714.
CAMP NECESSITIES: Backpack Waterbottle Suncreen Bug lotion Indoor shoes Hat or Cap Lunch in thermos or ice packed for full day campers. ALL snacks will be provided. Dress for the weather rain or shine we will participate in outdoor activities.

Full day camp: 8:30-4:30 Weekly Rate $250.00 Extended Day :6am-6pm Weekly Rate $338.00 Half day Camps:8:30-11:30am Weekly Rates $170.00 1:30-4:30pm Weekly Rates $170.00
Weekly rates include morning and afternoon snack.Students in Full day camps should bring their own bagged lunch from Home.
Tentatively Camps will be hosted at our Silin Forest Campus as we await access to our Westview Elementary School Campus.
