Last Sunday we had the special honour of hosting Guiliana's 90th birthday celebration! This was such momentous milestone for beautiful woman inside and out. It was our pleasure to celebrate with the family and appreciate Nonna for the inspiration she is to all of us.

Graduation season is over, but we are still celebrating my niece Lisa's accomplishments! Our hearts are so full of love and pride for this beautiful girl and all of her success. It was an honour to host her graduation celebration, following her valedictorian speech. Lisa your future is so bright, I look forward to supporting you on your future medical career and wish you all the love and happiness in the world. You are kind, smart and beautiful - the whole package! God bless ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped me raise more than $17, 000 for the Distinctive Women Event last fall.

Our last cooking class was a huge success, we are excited to host another class back by popular demand! The focus of the demonstration will be seafood, using fresh seasonal ingredients. We open up the restaurant after hours and invite you to this special exclusive event. Franca will take you step by step through each course, showing how to build the flavours and presentation of the dish. The evening is an interactive experience, we invite you to come up and examine the smells and textures of the food and ask Franca any questions that come to mind! After the demonstration you will be served the full four course meal to enjoy.

We were there last night for a food and wine pairing. The food was fantastic and lots of it not just a tasting menu. The service was second to none they make you feel like one of the family and will definitely go again. Have been there several times for lunch and the food and service has been excellent each time.

This is a fantastic place, excellent attentive service with class and most importantly excellent tasting food and use of quality ingredients. I found most restaurants in Calgary are just ok but this one really is one of the best I've eaten at, the polenta appetizer is a must.

The cooking class with Franca and Mario was awesome! Such a wonderful evening and the 4 course meal was so delicious. Franca and Mario go out of their way to to make every guest feel like family, not just at special events like this, but every time you visit. The food and service is excellent. Franca's is Calgary's little Italian gem.

Just had the most amazing dinner at Franca's tonight! Food, atmosphere and service were 10/10. Definitely my new favourite restaurant and I even managed to buy a beautiful sterling silver bracelet imported from Italy as well!! Thank you to Mario and Franca for a fantastic evening and we will be back soon! Highly recommend!!!!

Franca and her family did an amazing job last night for our Christmas party of 200+ people.

Our event was a more formal appetizer style which isn't something they're used to doing.

They were so accommodating and so easy to work with, I can't wait for years to come!

Everything I had was amazing! Our customers couldn't stop talking about how good the food was!



I can't wait to go for dinner and try more!

You can tell they put their heart and soul into their food and their service.



When I first met Franca she said " you walk in as a customer and leave as family". That statement could be anymore true!

I brought a customer to Franca's for lunch. My customer was blown away by the family atmosphere here. She was greeted by Franca and Elena with a hug and offered the best service and excellent food! My friend's words were: "she has a customer for life, I will bring my husband here for dinner, he will love it"! As usual Franca and her family always deliver quality food with a smile and a hug!

Franca's is THE BEST ITALIAN restaurant in Calgary! The food is authentic, the atmosphere is classy, and Franca and Mario are amazing. You must eat there!
