You have to be little careful about what you r picking. But totally worth it!

User

You can't beat the prices. There is often a little spoilage, especially when buying cases/flats but at these prices I will gladly purchase and throw out the tiny bit that isn't perfect. I bought a case of bell peppers last week for $1. Yes, some were spoiled but after inspecting and washing them I ended up with $35 worth of peppers for $1. Nobody can beat a deal like that.

User

New location is clean, bigger and better laid out. There are more carts and tills. Only downside is parking can be tricky and sometimes you have to ask staff to get you things out of the coolers. Overall great deals to be had, just watch out for expiry dates.

User

Loved it! I was overwhelmed the new place is huge and spacious and the sale is cheaper than anywhere.... lots of people are shopping here.

User

For people who complaine about this place, they should go to co-op, Safeway,... and spand triple more money. 95% I am happy with their products and 100% with their prices. With that being said, I don't have ANY complaine and I LOVE this store

User

Went on the grand opening of the new location. It was super busy and parking was difficult, but overall was impressed by the store. The produce was nice quality and the checkout flow was at a good speed. Will definitely be heading back. Great prices!!

User

This place was a discovery! It is out of the way but when they have a good sale on, people are queued out the door! The only down part is, it is crazy busy. People are competing for carts, parking is a nightmare and it is VERY stressful and difficult to move around the store. I wish the management would address these issues. Other than that, I love to come here. I bought a dehydrator recently and am learning how to can, and enjoy preserving what I purchase from Freestone. They really help families stretch their food budgets!

User

They've just moved but parking is still an issue though better than it was. I always find great buys, you might have to throw some away but for the prices it's still worth it. (2 1.5lb bags of baby potatoes for $1, some are sprouting but if you have a garden you can throw the ones that are sprouted into your garden and grow some potatoes and eat the rest), produce changes all the time so it's not your one stop shop for everything but check it out and finish up your shopping at your regular grocery store.

User

Perfect place for anyone who is juicing short or long term! You get to use a lot of veggies & fruit in just few days!

User

It’s a handy little spot, definitely get some savings on some fruits and veggies which is nice. I would go there again and would recommend to my friends and family. Could use a bit more selection.

User

I would like to start off saying I like it!!! This place is not for the people in search of best quality. Yes you have to be a little picky and choosy for what you get BUT you save soooo much here I believe it is worth it. I usually end up getting a few things in box to share with a friend or if its strawberries my kids down them so worth the buy. I cant find a better price any where else and believe me I looked!

Thanks for the great opportunity for me to splurge on fruits and veggies as before I found other places prices hard to justify the purchase leaving me feeling like I wasnt doing enough for my kids. You've made my life that much more enjoyable and I'm very grateful. And the new spacious location is the best

User

Well, great place, great deals except for the $10 case of mangoes that yielded very little good mango meat. Most of the mangoes were black and rotten inside.

User

I really like this place however, I do find that the produce does not keep for very long. I purchased fruits and vegetables on Saturday and by Tuesday a lot of them were going bad. I understand that everything is priced pretty cheap, but I do feel that it should keep longer than two or three days.

I also found that some of the produce was starting to spoil while still sitting in the bins.

User

The guy who works there told me that the store is opened up to 7 pm, every day. The next day I drove 30 minutes just to find the store closed, it was 5 pm!! So disappointed......

User

Really not worth going. More then half of the produce is rotten or about to go off in the next day. The store smells of rotting food. You might find one or two good things worth getting but still not worth it as you have to shop at different stores as well to get all your produce. Extremely disappointed in this store.

User

I went there for the first time today..very overwhelmed. I can see what the owners are trying to do and its a great idea however...I think there needs to be more staff constantly getting rid of rotten fruit and veg. I touch a few of the mangos and they were liquid. Bags of blood oranges were 99cents but you would be hard pressed to find even a few in a bag that were not rotten or moldy or dry. Bananas were 69cent/lb..great price...lots of really amazing deals. I saw many people with huge carts...pretty sure this produce is not going to last longer than another week at best. Don't go during the weekend..parking was tough..All the best to you.

User

Well most of the time they have rotten fruits and vegetables.. I bought a 50 lb bag of potatoes, when I opened the bag at home more than half the potatoes were rotten had to throw away and same with onions and most of the produce is like that.. not worth going there its a waste of time

User

Very small space with little shopping carts, had to wait 15 mins to get a cart. No staff to help and when you do find one they are pretty rude. We wanted to buy a box of strawberry but we found mold in 2 of the containers so we wanted to swap, the staff told us we have to buy as is...with the mold because there is no swapping on produce. Why would I want to spend $15 for a box of strawberry that has mold. Not worth going.

User

If you like the feeling of people who are not looking where they are going, driving cars directly at you, then this is the place for you. Perhaps customers could be advised how to park their cars? Absolutely madness. Coming here was a painful chore much like cleaning an oven whilst being repeatedly stabbed in the base of the skull with a chisel.
