Let’s talk LASER, and this time, hair removal.
At Freya we have two options for laser hair removal, including SharpLight IPL, which is relatively painless. Essentially this treatment emits a light beam through the hair, into the follicle, which turns into heat energy to coagulate melanin in the follicle. As a result, the follicle cannot grow new hair.
... Only about 20-25% of human hair follicles are in the active growth phase at any given time, which is why repeated sessions are necessary.
Typically 5 to 7 treatments are required, spaced 4 to 12 weeks apart depending on the body area.
