Here is a double cut with 3 single coils and a vibrato bridge. It is masked and ready for stain.
The other is obviously a Tele shape, but is getting a set of P-rail humbuckers.

I posted a couple of pics yesterday of one of the builds I have going on. Here's a couple more of the other two. The first is a Tele shape that is getting a pair of humbuckers. The pickup pockets and neck pocket are routed. The second is a "Strat-ish" guitar. It is not a copy of anything, it is an original. ... This one is getting some custom Vineham 69 single coils. Going to be sweet!!

I've been working on a few new guitars. Here are a couple pictures of one of them. The back is maple and is hollowed out some. The front is Pau Ferro. Beautiful.

This beauty was purchased this week. I cannot say any names as it is a gift, and I don't want to ruin the surprise. Here's the specs. Neck - maple / padauk fret board, inlaid with white Mother of Pearl, with Abalone inserts. Body - swamp ash... Pickups - golden age with split coils. Push/Push controls for coil split. T.O.M. bridge. This guitar sounds absolutely wonderful!!

I have never taken any pictures of this guitar, even though I built it last fall. I thought I would give everyone a quick view of this one. I love the color! This one is a Swamp Ash body with a maple/padauk neck. White Mother of Pearl inlay with Paua Abalone inserts.... Humbuckers with Coil Tap, activated by push/push control knobs. Locking tuners, and a roller bridge. Plays like butter!!

Ok. Here's a couple of pics of the finished product. This old Gibby is going to sing again!!

I've been doing a 'reno' on this vintage 1964/5 Gibson ES 355. When it came in, it had been sitting for quite a number of years. The frets were oxidized heavily and worn flat from heavy playing in it's past. The neck was gummed up from hand sweat too. The jack was shorting from a bad connection, and the whole guitar was quite dirty. After a few hours of cleaning and a lot of fret work, nut adjustment and electric repairs, this is what it looks like now. It'll be ready to roc...k by tonight. Welcome back ol' timer!! 😁

Yesterday I posted a couple pictures of routed control cavities. This is the routed truss rod channel for the neck of the walnut guitar, which is also posted below. You can see how I use a different bit for the adjustment end. This piece of walnut is really beautiful! The fret board wood, will be a bit of a surprise later.

Just finished routing a couple control cavities. One of the bodies is solid walnut. The other is a maple back with a Pau Ferro top. Each one has a tummy cut and will have forearm bevels also. They are going to be gorgeous.

I have been busy in the shop lately with a few repairs. I'm also building 3 new electrics and one acoustic. I have gotten hold of some really beautiful woods. Pau Ferro, some gorgeous flamed Maple, and a piece of walnut that is going to be stunning! Stay tuned. Pics are coming soon.

Here we go into the New Year!! I'm very excited about this year. More new models coming out this year, using even nicer woods. Some personalized inlay being done for a return customer too! I will post some pics along the way, and then certainly once the guitars are done.

It's almost Christmas, and another year very close to gone by. It has been a good year at Frozen Rose Guitars, with sales on the increase. 😁 I'm busy in the shop with repairs, and have also started on three new electric guitars, and one acoustic!! I'm excited about the new designs, and what the next year will bring. I want to wish everyone who has "liked" and "followed" Frozen Rose, a Very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!!
