Fusion Sushi, Downtown

I've been to this location 3 times now: twice for weekday lunch and once on a Sunday evening for dinner.

The sushi is about par for the course for all you can eat. This location (unlike some of the other Fusion locations) offers Sashimi, which is fantastic. Even if I did find a bone in a piece of salmon on my last visit.

The whole operation uses food order tablets, which I find to be better than paper order sheets and certainly better than buffet. The downside is that servers rarely come to check on you, so drinks often sit empty, and those ordering off of the menu have a disapointing experience.

Overall recomended, as there isn't much better for all you can eat sushi in Calgary, but keep the downsides in mind when planning your trip.

Ordered takeout from fusion - the service was fast and friendly but unfortunately, the food quality was poor on my particular order.

The salmon was quite fishy tasting, the dumplings had a very poor taste to the fillings, and the salad dressing was more a salad mush glommed on top of the lettuce. Pretty unappetizing overall and I didn’t eat more than half of it.

However the price was very fair for the amount that I ordered. I just wished I had dined in in order to express my displeasure with my meal and to exchange some items.

I can’t comment on an actual in house dining experience, and do feel that if I was in house and my food arrived this way, that it would have been easy to rectify this issue.

Enjoyed the menu selections of all you can eat sushi. Presentation, food and service was excellent. Not overly busy which was nice.

Awesome! Vegetarian and carnivores are going to love this place. The unlimited A-Y-C eat manner of their business is really a bang for your buck.
Great "Japanese" customer service; I must specifically say that. I wouldn't eat here more than 3X a month unless you have deep pockets- the price is not cheap;)
BUT GREAT FOODIES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AMBIENCE.

Foods are good. Place is nice. There's a lady who does not wear a smile and it adds stress on me to stay. She talks like shes fighting with someone but shes not. Maybe that's her nature but she should improve on that aspect as she is in a customer service field.

We came and had Father's Day Dinner here and the service was impeccable! The food was absolutely delicious and the chef even came out to greet us. We had the best time and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The food is about what can be expected from an all-you-can-eat style restaurant, good, but not particularly inspirational. The lunch menu is satisfactory, though I personally prefer the dinner menu. This location uses the iPad ordering system for a menu, so don't expect any meaningful interaction with your server. During quiet times, orders are completed quickly and accurately. Once the place gets more than three or so tables filed though, the quality of service drops noticeably. I ended up waiting over 20 minutes for a simple bit of teriyaki beef. This isn't a high-class sushi place, but if you want a decent meal at a reasonable price, it'll do in a pinch.

Decent quality sushi and other dishes. Never had any issues with food, but it's not always the freshest (expected for Calgary).
Service is excellent, ordering system is awesome, and prices more than reasonable.
