Good morning all! I picked this guy up yesterday and can’t wait to get started. I was so happy I finally found a rocking chair I won’t feel guilty about painting!
I am really impressed with how the black wax turned out on this! Gives it some depth and brings out the design!
I’m excited to have room in the garage to work on these mini chairs! I wanted to turn them into a bench but am still undecided on what to do! 🧐 I don’t think I can bring myself to paint them though, they are too old and cool.
Even wood needs a good conditioner sometimes.
A little black wax and it will be perfect!
My phone is smashed so don’t mind the low quality photos, everything is a bit darker irl.
I am loving how dark this coffee table turned out, I enjoyed getting to do two of the same table so I could try something different on each. The first had a lighter stain with dark paint and now this one has a dark stain with a way different colour scheme!
All painted and ready for its new beautiful desktop! Now I’m off to stain the top!
We’re off to Jasper this weekend to show our dog the mountains for the first time! Here is a sneak peak of what’s to come when I’m back.
It’s way to hot to do most things outside never mind paint but I couldn’t wait to try out my new fusion paint colours. Very thankful to have a Fusion Mineral Paint supplier in Lloydminster. Thanks again Daysville Designs. This chair is saved.

This 4 drawer dresser has a unique paint job in matte black with bronze design and details and a bronze crystal knob. Drawers work great. For sale now on my shop.
