Every now and then we are blown away by a kitchen that goes above and beyond. Today’s Bertazzoni Heritage range and rangehood install was an example of that. Wow!! 👏👏👏😍

We are doing some spring cleaning here at General Appliances today and came across these 1950's Appliance Warranty Cards from the Beaver Hardware* Appliance Division which was later acquired to form General Repairs in 1972. It is interesting to see some of the pricing from the 50's as well as to recognize many of the family names that still support our company today :)

We had a very good experience when we went in looking for a new washing machine. Friendly knowledgable staff. I highly recommend supporting this local store.

We first checked out the store because a few friends had recommended General Appliances. They had received great service and got what they were looking for at a good price. We bought our LG fridge from them and love it. Great service in every way. Then we we went back for our Bosch dishwasher a few months ago.



We think of them first now when we are looking for appliances.

We built a house and Danielle was awesome to work with. When it came time for delivery it was done professionally and no damage to our new house. Would highly recommend them.

We bought all of our appliances from General Appliances - Central Alberta's Appliance Store 20+ years ago. They were far & away the best customer service we received when we built. My kitchen appliances are still going strong but I expect we'll be purchasing in the near future.

We are in the process of building a house with two kitchens. General Appliance has been wonderful from selection to pricing. They have been easy to deal with when changes have been made. I will update this review to comment of delivery and setup when the house is complete.

Walked in someone immediately talked to me. Knew what I needed, got what I needed within 10 minutes and was done. Simple, fast, friendly people, and easy to deal with.

Very helpful and had a great selection. We have purchased many appliances from here and will go back when we need anything in the future.

The salesman I dealt with walked me through all my options as I was purchasing all new kitchen appliances. He didn’t rush me and if he didn’t know an answer, he would find it! The installation crew was amazing even though they ran into a kink in spacing for my dishwasher, they managed to come up with a solution! Very smart, respectful and tidy fellas! Very impressed with my purchases and the customer service!!

My washer cratered a few months ago, and I needed to replace it. My daughter-in-law recommended General Appliance, so I headed in Lacombe! I picked out the machine I wanted, and they not only delivered it, but also set it up and removed the old one! Prices were good, service was fast and the people I dealt with, from the sales floor to the delivery, were friendly and knowledgeable! I was very impressed! Will definitely be going back next time I need a new appliance!

I remember the first time we dealt with General Appliances many years ago. We had purchased a nice new stove with all the bells and whistles. I was baking buns and sticky buns for the local farmers market. I was just getting ready to take a batch out when something went wrong with the door lock mechanism for self clean! It just kept locking and unlocking. Imagine the panic when I couldn't get the buns out! Through patience and luck with timing I managed to salvage that batch and turn the oven off but there were many more pans to go. We called General to see what could be done. The owner himself delivered a brand new unit almost before I had hung up the phone and I was back in business!

I bought a new washing machine here and wanted something simple-not too many buttons and settings. They showed me exactly what I wanted for a great price and delivered it out to my house and took the old one away. Will definitely be going back for any other appliances!!
