Generation Indigenous (Geni)

Generation Indigenous sees the opportunity for reconciliation between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous communities and seeks to act on bolstering the unity and partnership between the various communities. We accomplish our goal of bridging the gap between these vast communities through our cultural festivals, educational initiatives, local collaborations, and gardening projects. Our non-profit exists to strengthen the bonds between all treaty people (every person living on numbered treaty territories are treaty people). Within our organization, we have four pillars that we operate through to accomplish our goals of providing reconciliation between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous communities and the current and future generations of Indigenous people.
