Getto Boys Bar & Grill

We had gone here on the recommendations from a couple groups about this being safe for celiacs. Food was ok but everything was deep fried and the batter was hard as rock. Probably won't be back. Service was not great either as the place was empty and when we needed something we couldn't find anyone.

RIP Getto boys. Thanks for letting us hang out and play board games. We will miss you.

I uses to race about this place. When in Calgary I'm usually ecstatic about being able to dine here as I can eat anything off the menu (I'm Celiac ). I usually bring all sorts of friends with me.

Tonight there were 8 of us. Service was abysmal, food itself was subpar. Whole my partner was paying the bill, and nicely was voicing his concerns of dinner taking 1 1/2 to receive after ordering, he was told to "f^&ck off". Which is abhorrent.

Nothing I can say was positive about this last experience. Truly sad.

I don't think I have ever met a more ignorant "manager". Sadly the food was bland, poorly cooked, and the service was atrocious. If I walk in to a restaurant with 2 tables taken... I don't expect to have an extended wait. We had someone who had to catch a plane with us. The food, after being, told there was only one guy in the kitchen (a lie actually), was not delivered when we were promised. After going to the bathroom I returned to the table to find that the bill is sitting there with no reflection of the issues they are having, and having been accused of skipping out on the bill. When I went to the server telling her I didn't appreciate the accusation, her denying it and the the "manager" then telling me the food was delivered in a timely manner, and the food was fine. I essentially had to argue with him that I wanted one of the meals taken off. Apparently they feel I was a crappy customer, rather than a guy just looking to have a decent meal. And the problem was not something they needed to deal with... You guys may want to consider changing managers. I won't be back... And if you're wondering if you should go, don't.

Want this place to be successful, so bad. Bad decision on name, nobody gets the acronym and it's a bit racist. The manager is super nice but the staff is under trained. The staff want to do well, care about customers but need more training. Heard they have live music downstairs nightly, last time I was there though it was two dudes playing video games.

Good burger menu and friendly service. Fish and chips are ok but not the best!

100% of the items on the menu are gluten free or can be made to be with simple substitutions! They even have gluten free beer. The bartendress was very knowledgeable about the gluten free food. The atmosphere and staff are very warm. I'll be returning soon to check out some live music that they have regularly. I can't say enough good things about this place.

It was a great place to go for dinner on a Monday night. We were practically the only people there. Food was pretty good and we played a few games of pool after eating.

Great experience. The whole place is new and clean but has a great pub vibe. Tons of gluten-free options for a Celiac. Good food, and great service.
