I have been building guitars under the Gilmore brand since 1995. I registered Gilmore Guitars as a trade name in 1998. I incorporated Gilmore Guitars Inc. In 2010. Now there are at least 3 other builders using my name. Gillmore in Indonesia, Robert Gilmore in Israel. And there is also a Gilmour brand out there. I believe of them all, I am the only handcrafter. There rest are manufacturing and using cnc technology.
