Girls That See Sharp

Welcome to Girls That See Sharp! Did you know (according to a 2019 study) that women in Canada are less likely to enter and more likely to leave STEM fields? We were just as shocked to hear this statistic of one of the most developed, leading countries in the world. Girls That See Sharp aims to empower women in tech and encourage girls to aspire to become software engineers and mathematicians. Our goal is to end the notion that tech is a "men's club" and that math or coding is too hard. Anyone can learn to write code and do math, and we're here to help you on your journey! Among facilitating an inclusive community of young women in tech or interested in getting into tech, we're also excited to be planning events and rolling out resources to help equip young women with the tools they need to get ahead.
