Glitter Dun Promotions is about creating a community. We produce exciting and empowering events for the modern equestrian. We are thrilled to present our inaugural event, The Educated Equestrian series.
Glitter Dun Promotions Description
At Glitter Dun Promotions our aim is to produce equestrian clinics and events like they’ve never been produced before. At a Glitter Dun Promotions event, you will find a sense of community, you will get excited about the knowledge you’re absorbing and you will leave the day feeling refreshed, upbeat and empowered.
Our inaugural event is a three-part clinic series, The Educated Equestrian Series. We are tackling topics of health, fitness, confidence, attitude and mental focus for both the rider and equine partner. Gone are the days of stuffy venues, boring speakers, and terrible buffet food. We are flipping the concept of a lecture series on it’s head with educated and passionate speakers and opportunities to communicate and digest information with those around you. Plus, while all of this spectacular knowledge is being absorbed by our attendants, we are inviting some of the most innovative and forward-thinking boutiques and equestrian products to participate at the clinic itself. A trade show style area will provide attendants a chance to stretch their legs between speakers, and shop products and brands that we firmly believe in.
Glitter Dun Promotions targets a demographic that appreciates education in the horse world, but also desires a sense of a positive and inclusive community - no matter the discipline, or background.

#CompetitorsSpotlight - Kendra Gale, Miniature Horsemanship.
Kendra Gale, Cochrane, Alberta, is an Equestrian Canada Certified Driving Instructor, and has been driving Miniature Horses in the AMHA show ring for 28 years, beginning at the age of 8. She has been lucky enough to compete several times at the AMHA World Show and at shows throughout Western Canada. In the past decade, Gale has also developed a strong interest in dressage based training, and competes in combined dri...ving as well. Gale teaches in person and through her online classroom, MiniatureHorsemanship.com, and loves to help people gain the knowledge they need to allow them to make educated decisions on the care, management and training of their Miniature Horses. Kendra is the author of The Big Book of Miniature Horses, the primer on all things Miniature Horse.
Kendra also splits her time at Burwash Equine Services, where she is the Assistant Receptionist. #SpeakerSpotlight, Louisa Murch-White, With a Western Twist.
Murch White has found success as a beginner, perhaps not in the show pen, but as a writer with her blog With A Western Twist. Her blog not only details her personal experiences as a novice competitor in the cutting horse pen, but also showcases interviews and stories of other beginner riders. Her belief is that to build the base, of any equestrian sport, we must first celebrate our beginner riders and share their st...ories. In her talk, "A Beginner's Guide to Being a Competitor" Murch White will kick off our day by touching on the importance of believing in yourself as a competitor, whether you are a beginner, or an olympian, and why each and everyone of our stories are important.
