Global Immigration Solutions & Legal Services is a well-established and highly regarded client-based immigration law firm.

Our founder, Kevin Zemp, is licensed to practice immigration and citizenship law in both Canada and the United States. Prior to his admission to the bar in 1994, Kevin was employed as a Senior Immigration Officer for the Canadian government. He has previously served as chair of the Alberta South section of the Canadian Bar Association. He is currently serving as Treasurer of the National Immigration section of the Canadian Bar Association.

GIS provides clients with efficient and cost effective representation for the processing of immigration. We have a total of 12 valuable staff, consisting of former senior Canadian immigration officials and highly regarded immigration paralegals who are familiar with all aspects of Canadian and U. S. immigration law to ensure that prompt and effective immigration solutions are realized. Our staff can also speak many languages, including Spanish, Filipino, and Chinese. Our systems are designed to be transparent and simple, ensuring a high degree of client satisfaction.

We quite often deal with admissibility issues arising out of prior immigration history, criminal records or medical issues, and are able to effectively process Temporary Resident Permits (TRPs) in appropriate circumstances to overcome these obstacles. We also assist clients in rehabilitation and waiver applications.

We also provide a range of permanent resident processing solutions under the Family Class, Canadian Experienced Class, Federal economic classes and the Provincial Nominee Programs.

As an experienced U. S. licensed immigration attorney, Kevin can also provide seamless immigration services for those clients with U. S. operations or customers in a variety of different categories, such as B, E, H, J, K, L, and P visas.

We typically do not represent clients in refugee or asylum matters.

Due to the multinational nature of many of our corporate clients, we are often called upon to obtain or assist with travel visas and work permits for countries throughout the world in addition to Canada and the United States.
