Good News™

Good News™ is a Canadian Federal Nonprofit promoting four legal heads of charity as sanctioned by the Canada Revenue Agency: the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the advancement of religion, and other purposes beneficial to the community. Our name is a literal translation of the Ancient Greek εὐαγγέλιον (euangélion, Strong's: G2098), meaning a good message, i. e. the gospel, found seventy-seven times in the New Testament. The good message is that Jesus Christ, the expressed image of the invisible God, has lowered himself to free humankind from their suffering and sin (John 1: 18; Colossians 1: 15–20). Charles Pinnock explained, "The Christian message is good news, not just for the well-behaved and pious, not just for Jews and Christians, not just for the elect few; it is good news for the world, for all sinners without discrimination, for all the hopeless, the forgotten, the marginalized. " (Pinnock, 1999, 189) The good message stimulates our Purposes and Activities, which are located within Canada and around the world, and financed by raising money through Gifts and Donations.
