Theft from lockers going on, change room was a disaster. A lot of broken cardio machines. Not the best location.

Gym looks okay, not great in size like other GoodLife fitness locations. When it comes to cleanliness, it’s clean and hygiene, but most equipments are manual, in the sense, we need to add weights manually, where as other GoodLife fitness we can change the weights by just locking the pins. Staff are friendly, but only issue with this gym is the studio, the interior is worse and poor planning, it has mirrors only on one side, not three sides like other GoodLife fitness lectionary. The floor of studio seriously needs proper refinishing. Other than the main issue the studio, the gym is good enough.

Not sure why you guys don't ask or record a drivers license or take a photo of non members like you do members considering how many carjackings you have there. 2 in the last month says there's an issue with the gym security. Going to loose a lot of members if you don't get the women's locker room situation sorted out at all the locations but especially south point.

Consistently friendly staff. Concerns addressed when raised. Personal trainers really know what they are doing. PT training area could be a bit larger. Love the pool and aqua classes. Yes. Parking can be an issue. That's the only negative I see

This place is probably the largest one in Calgary as it use to be Gold's years ago. The shower area has been updated a few years ago but the floor is super slippery. I love the improved stream room. My gripes with this location are: all the broken cardio equipment, the prices for personal training/diet planning for people who do their Goodlife training add then they are a personal trainer. It's like they are cookie cutter plans and routines. When I ask for help with a diet (at the McKenzie location), I got "well I can't actually give you advice as I'm not a dietician."

Through Goodlife fitness center I found the strength, courage and drive to battle a weight issue since I was a child. The trainers are caring, very knowledgeable and lucky for me patient. They have helped me to begin my journey and give me the support I need. I will continue to go there for years to come.

This is probably my favourite Goodlife in the city. Love the pool and steam room, but don't expect to use the hot tub as it is always closed for maintenance or repairs.

Repairs seem to take a long time. The cardio equipment is a good 10 years old (it's from the old Golds Gym). I heard some gyms rotate in new equipment on a regular basis...not here. The majority again is from the old Golds Gym.

Just read the bad reviews and you will not see one response from any GoodLife management. They don't care and it obviously a monkey see monkey do thing at this place. Brutal. Just a disgusting gym. Weights all over filth all over. If something is broken it remains broken for a painfully long time. Nothing is policed by the staff here to members so people just do whatever they liked. There are a few great staff members for sure but the awful ones take the thunder in this place. Right from the bottom to the top nobody really cares about their own work environment. Find a while in the wall gym. All hoodlifes are pretty awful anyway. The small neighbourhood gyms know more and take much more pride in what you pay for.

Definitely not the best Goodlife in Calgary. Equipment is old and often out of service, TV's on the cardio equipment are so static filled they are unwatchable. This location doesn't seem to have the same cleaning standards as their newer locations, locker room is often dirty and sometimes has a pretty funky smell to it.

Hot tub is nice when it is in service. It's been out of service for the last 2 weeks for a full cleaning and filter change. Seriously? How can it take that long to clean and change the filters. I do like that this location has a lap pool and make use of it whenever I visit this location.

User

Not enough parking. Always under renos. Pool/Sauna/Hot Tub are nice to have but always seem to be busted or under maintenance.

User

Good machine and last a room to do exercise.
But the biggest concern is the trainers, 50 % of then they don't really care about you they just do there job... They don't care if you really win your goals..

User

Great facility, lots of options with the equipment, classes, amenities. There is a steam/sauna room, pool showers with shampoo/conditioner and body wash. There is also a women's only section. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The day care Center is great with a 5 dollar drop off fee.
