Grand Petroleum Inc. was initially started with $3. 6 million in funding as a private company in 2003. The company went public on the TSX Venture Exchange through a reverse take-over of RightsMarket Inc. in Jan 2004. Grand had production in Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan growing to approximately 3, 500 boe /d before being sold to Harvest Energy in 2007 for $147 million at $3. 84 per share.
