The Grande Prairie Museum, Heritage Discovery Centre, and the Rev. Forbes Homestead (summer only) bring history alive through our exhibits, programs, and featured events.

At the heart of Culture & Heritage, we represent the Grande Prairie Museum (GPM), Heritage Discovery Centre (HDC), and Rev. Forbes Homestead. We are your destination for Community Events, Educational Programming, School Tours, Arts Development Funding & more!

Both museums are situated in Muskoseepi Park and offer interpretive displays, fixed and travelling exhibits, a traditional heritage village (GPM) and scavenger hunts to engage the minds of visitors of all ages.

We aim to meet professional museum standards, pursue excellence in our collecting activity, and protect the objects that tell the story of our heritage.
