Greg Williamson Description

Greg Williamson (born August 13, 1978) is a Canadian drummer, session musician, and songwriter. He is best known for his work with touring act Tupelo Honey, which is an original project Greg co-founded in 2003, in St. Albert, AB, Canada, where he currently resides.

Greg is currently touring with Canadian Country Top 20 artist Dan Davidson, with whom he spent well over a decade with in Tupelo Honey.

Tupelo Honey has played and toured with numerous headlining acts such as: Bon Jovi, Shinedown, Slash, Everclear, Default, Finger 11, Vince Neil, Marianas Trench, Social Code, Metric, Matt Good, K-OS, Hinder, Hedley, The Headstones, Monster Truck, Pop Evil, Theory Of A Deadman, Bif Naked, Three Days Grace, Thornley, The Trews, Billy Talent, Stabilo, Glass Tiger, Wide Mouth Mason and Sam Roberts.

Greg is the tour drummer for the multi-platinum band Econoline Crush since 2010.

He has also been seen playing with bands and artists such as: Livy Jeanne, Kingdoom, Punch Drunk Cabaret, Mourning Wood, The Raygun Cowboys, Cops + Robbers, The Rebel Emergency, Kae Sun, and Jampara and the Battalion.

Greg is a staple in the Edmonton, AB, Canada music scene and does session work in town, and abroad for other artists, such as Canadian Idol winner Brian Melo on his record “Livin’ It”. (Greg plays drums on “Shine”, “Summertime”, “Livin’ It”, and “Half As Good As You”). He has also recorded for Kingdoom, The Veer Union, Bryan Finlay, and many others.
