Habitat For Humanity Edmonton Description
Founded in 1991, Habitat for Humanity Edmonton a charitable organization working towards a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Our mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. With the help of thousands of volunteers we helped hundreds of families achieve strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable home ownership. For more information, please visit HFH.org.

ReStore:
We also operate five retail outlets called ReStore. ReStore accepts donations of new and gently-used building materials and vintage items and then sells them to the general public at great savings. The proceeds from ReStore go towards Habitat's fundraising administration costs.

In 2016 we completed the largest Habitat build in Canadian history - 64 families are now living in the development we named NEUFELD LANDING (in honour of the Don & Kae Neufeld family).
