Hairofthedog Artworx

My jewellery is made by choosing a spot in one of my original acrylic paintings that speaks to me and it becomes what I call a "Soul Treasure". They can look like wood, stone, ocean, stormy skies, running water, galaxies or landscapes.

I love being able to provide hand painted original art that can be worn rather than displayed on a wall. In order to accomplish this I can usually be found tucked away in my studio creating wearable art known as "Soul Treasures. I do have to pull myself out of the studio once in a while just to deal with my "real" life. Laundry and dust bunnies don't take care of themselves. . . lol
In case you were wondering, the name Hair of the Dog Artworx, came about as I discovered years ago when I first started painting, that almost every single piece of my art had at least one hair from my dog Callie in it. The dog hair isn't a problem any longer, but the name stuck.
