Hannah was an absolute pleasure to work with. She offered great knowledge and opinions to ensure that we were happy with the product that we needed repaired. She has a very competitive price point - and was extremely pleasant to do business with. We will definitely be going back to work with her in the future. Her turn around time was unbelievable! She gave us a fair quote as soon as we walked in, and had it down by close that night (we saw her in the afternoon)

I needed a dress made all I had was a picture no pattern just from scratch and I only had 3 weeks to have it ready. I went to Hanna’s and She made my dress it was so close to the picture I was super impressed Not only because it turned out amazing but that she was able to do it in such a short timeline and reasonably priced. If I need anything else done I will definitely go back to Hanna’s design and alterations. Thank you!!!!

I showed up with a dress I needed to get hemmed in 4 days and she was so great being able to help me out on such short notice. I had taken this $300 dress to another person who told me alterations would be around $700. She is so reasonably priced and very professional and good to deal with. I than showed up 2 days before my engagement photo shoot with a pair of a pants for my fiancé who also needed them hemmed. She had both items ready for us at a very good price. Would highly recommend!!

Hanna literally saved me from having to purchase a new wedding dress. I ordered my dress from a very well known toronto based company and they ordered me the wrong size. With only a few months before the big day, Hanna was able to basically reconstruct the bottom of my dress so it would zip up. Not only did it zip up, but she tailored it perfectly to my body. I will be forever grateful to Hanna for her "anything is possible" attitude and calm demeanour during a very stressful time. I can't recommend her enough!! On top of that, pricing was very reasonable and it was very easy to make multiple fitting appointment even though she is really busy. Thank you Hanna!!

Hanna totally saved me on my wedding day! I had gone to a friend of a friend with my wedding dress and it had taken her 3 months to finish. I had asked for illusion sleeves, an illusion back and for the dress to be hemmed and fitted more into the mermaid style. I wish I could upload a picture of the day I tried on my dress. It was at least two sizes too big, she just did a zipper back and earlier had done horrible illusion sleeves so I just asked for some cap sleeves and they just didn't look right at all. My wedding was in 1 1/2 weeks! She told me to just eat more to gain weight. I didn't trust her to fix what she had done so I found Hanna. She was appalled at what the previous seamstress had done, the zipper was crooked, she had hemmed it too short and yea, it was two sizes too big! She took photos for me as evidence so I could try to get at least some money back and said she would do whatever she could to fix everything by my wedding. She had me stand in my dress and started taking out the lace at the bottom to fix the hemm and found tiny holes the other seamstress had left. It really does matter who you go to, especially for something like your wedding dress!
I came in to try it on a few days before the wedding so she would be able to make any minor changes if needed. It was perfect and fit like a glove! She fixed everything and even fitted it more into the mermaid style! She even added in a bustle for me last minute! By the time I came to pick it up and everything was finished I was totally in love and so so happy with it! She saved my dress and I am so thankful to her for doing that for me! I wore my dress on my wedding day and felt beautiful in it, I didn't even want to take it off for the reception and just ended up wearing it all night. This woman is dedicated and loves what she does. She really cares and her prices are exceptionally reasonable for the quality of work you get. I totally recommend going to her!! Hanna was exceptional! I brought her my wedding dress that was a little small and she made it fit perfectly! She hemmed it and put a bustle on it. She even steamed it for me so it would be wrinkle free for my wedding day. I would highly recommend visiting her store for any kind of alterations. She does a fantastic job and is very friendly. I was swamped with a busy schedule and I didn't get the time to get my pants altered on time. I called everywhere else and they were too busy to accommodate, until I found Hannah's Design & Alterations. She got my dress pants hemmed and slimmed down to my liking, plus it was really affordable. If I could give an extra star I would. Amazing service. Definitely a return customer from now on.

Great shop for leathers. Brought in my motorcycle race suit and street leather jacket, zipper replacements and repairs done perfectly whereas other shops would not even touch it. Price was very reasonable, especially if you know replacement cost for a race suit or jacket. Highly recommend for leather work.

I needed my wedding dress altered and have gone to 3 other seamtresses(some from friend's recommendations) to see if they could shorten the dress (since I'm quite short). I bought the dress from Free People, so it was a bohemian style dress with some embroidery all over the dress. I was almost going to give up and get another dress until I found Hanna's Alterations on Google, which had amazing reviews, so I thought I would see if she would be able to do anything for me.

I was not disappointed at all! Hanna is such a nice lady and she quickly accepted the challenge. She even told me that it was no problem at all as it was a relatively easy job. We paid her a $50 deposit and booked an appointment 3 weeks later to get fitted and see if the dress was shortened the way I wanted.

We came back 3 weeks later and it was perfect! 3 weeks ago when I first brought the dress I didn't have my shoes (sandals in this case as the wedding is at a beach) so she figured out the length approximately without the shoes I was going to use for the wedding. The length was perfect and it doesn't even look like the dress was altered at all. It looked exactly the same as when I bought it.

So I will definitely recommend Hanna's Alterations to family and friends!
