Happy Dance Day Home is located in Braeside, St. Albert, Alberta. It is a cat-friendly main floor day home, however there is a downstairs, which is mainly where the cats hang out away from the noise : ).
We are located across from the Red Willow Park walking trails, and are walking distance to the trails and ravines, the Splash Park, Downtown, the Mall, Fountain Park Recreation Centre, and more. We have a large, bright space, and a back yard full of outdoor toys.
Happy Dance Day Home thrives on fun, music, dance, and activity both indoors and out. We love to go for walks, scavenger hunts, and have free, imaginative play outdoors. We have healthy snacks twice a day, and a nutritious lunch.
We enjoy circle time, story time, dance and music, crafts, quiet time, out door play, and imaginative play. We have a focus on education and play combined.

About Ashley:
My name is Ashley, and I am a mama with a love for kids, silliness, and learning. I have my first aid, vulnerable sector check, criminal record check, and food handlers course. I have a 20 month old of my own, and 15 years experience working with children. I've supervised group homes, worked as a teachers aide, a counsellor for children and youth living with emotional disturbance, and /or intellectual /developmental disabilities, I have worked with at risk youth, intake with sibling groups, a day camp leader, Recreation Coordinator, and community events coordinator all before opening my own day home. I also worked with adults with special needs for many years and volunteered at the mental health hospital for 10!
