Science

In a nutshell, the light from the light therapy pads release Nitric Oxide, which relaxes the muscle, which stimulates vasodilation, which then increases blood circulation, which in turn increases oxygen in the blood, which reduces inflammation, and increases ATP in the cell.

That is a lot of steps, but they all are steps in supporting your body to heal itself. Starting at the top, when Nitric Oxide (which your body produces naturally) is decreased because of disease, the light helps increase the nitric oxide.

New research shows that increased nitric oxide can maintain healthy blood pressure and prevent or delay heart disease. Better blood circulation means that any vitamins or supplements you take are more efficiently delivered to your tissues and organs. Low ATP is a common denominator of several conditions that involve extreme fatigue: heart disease, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
