Hardisty Thrift Shop

Two groups, comprised of the United Church Women and the Christian Guild of Hardisty, currently manage the shop.

Funds raised by the Thrift Shop support local food banks and FFCS, various shelters and sends kids to camp. We contribute to causes particular to each supporting women’s group, in addition to providing lower cost items to those in need in Hardisty and surrounding communities. The amount of goods recycled each week at the shop is immense. All suitable excess items are then transported to larger centers for distribution, as well as out of country on occasion. When disaster strikes we provide assistance. We like to think that in this capacity we provide Hardisty and area with quite a number of valuable services.
