We went tonight for dinner and it was amazing! The staff are outstanding very attentive and appreciate you for coming! Beautiful place with unbelievably delicious food! We can’t wait to go again!

We held a 50th Birthday Party here recently, the management and staff were amazing! We had a party of 35-40 people and everyone had an awesome experience, thanks again!

We booked a reservation for 8 for a Friday evening only a few hours in advance... when we arrived in time for the Oilers game the place was quite busy, yet we felt like we were treated special from the moment we came in the door. (I highly recommend booking a reservation like we did!) We were given a choice of two desirable areas to sit, and that was only just the beginning of our outstanding service. The highlight was when our fantastic server agreed to have the bartender make a special drink we requested... the “Bruce Wayne” (haha). By only the second try they had perfected it. My brother mentioned to us that the Old Fashioned he ordered wasn’t as good as one he has had at Hudson’s, but he was as impressed as usual with Hart’s incomparably good Gin & Tonic (the best G&T I’ve ever had, hands down). Our party had several Scotch drinkers who really appreciated the wide selection.

Everyone was satisfied with their meals... though I should note that we were quite hungry upon arrival so we also ordered a couple of appetizers to share and a few of us shared a dessert afterward. I enjoyed my gnocchi entree and my Pinot Grigio very much.

My husband and I live in Winnipeg, but we’ve been coming to Hart’s whenever we visit my siblings who both live close by. It is so nice to have a classy place with a great drink/food menu for a nice night out that is only a short cab-ride away. I think this is the fifth time we have been there as a group (since December 2015), and we will definitely be back. It was the perfect holiday celebration before my husband and I began our long, cold drive home today.

My first time at Hart's for our staff party and boss's birthday celebration. We were greeted with very friendly, courteous and prompt servers. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! I had the curried salmon and it was so good I am still thinking about it! All of the other dishes had by our party looked very appetizing and the portions were very large and everyone enjoyed it! I also really enjoyed my specialty drink, the Dragon's Breathe Mojito... so yummy!! Well done! I will be dining here again!

Hey FB Family, If you haven't heard of or checked out this gem of a restaurant... why not?!! We had the pleasure of celebrating a friend's birthday there and it was terrific! The 7 of us had lunch there today, our first visit, and most certainly, not our last. "Darren'(one of the managers) greeted us warmly, as if we were guests in his home, and 'Superman' Shane our handsome server, took care of the rest. We ordered several items off their one page 'something for everyone' menu and drinks. With 2 vegetarians in the group, we had no trouble ordering( BBQ Chick Pea Burger-the best) and they're so flexible with special requests! Portions are very generous, especially the yummy Beet Salad and Colossal Chocolate Cake. OMG. the 5 of us couldn't finish this decadent piece of heaven. At first glance, the prices may seem a bit higher than other places, but wait until you get your food,,,Hart's is not like other places. The entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you Darren and team, we'll be baaaaaack! :D

Harts is one of my favourite experiences i have ever had to encounter! Just when I thought the service was great the food got even better, I would highly recommend coming here for a night out to relax with friends, or even a place to take that special someone out for date night! Fantastic atmosphere, amazing staff. Even had the one manager by our table. When he found out it was our first time he gave us coupons for free meals for brunch. The food was wonderful... only thing I would change would be to have real bacon bits in the Caesar salad rather than the hard simulated kind. But definitely not a desk breaker.

Best Brunch in Edmonton! My friend and I shared the chicken and waffles and carrot cake pancakes, and it was incredible! Our food came out super quickly, and the staff was extremely friendly. The GM checked on every single table while we were there, which is awesome. Well worth the drive from St. Albert! If you haven't checked this place out yet you need to!

Was our first time there, atmosphere was fantastic. Live band. We sat at the bar until our tables was ready. I had to go ask again fo a table. The chairs are very low at the bar. I felt like they didn't want us to have a table because it was only the two of us. Other then that the service was fantastic, food was great. It looked like there was a couple of managers walking around making sure everyone was well taken care of. We didn't get asked, but I was impressed by that service. We last min decided to go for dinner and found this place by mistake looking for a nice neighborhood pup and some where different to eat.

I moved to Edmonton last month and decided to check out local pubs around our neighbourhood last Friday evening where we saw Harts and decided to give it a try. We were a group of 3 friends and as soon we entered in we were greeted by an adorable lass, later introduced her name as Simone, was very personable and comforting. She made us available to the kind of seating we were eyeing and intermittently came to our table to check how we are doing and nicely told us to try coming again tomorrow as they have specials on bottled beers (my weakness!). The starters, although limited, were fine but the bar menu really caught my attention. Splendid collection of beers and wine. We again went back on Saturday and had real good time. I will definitely recommend this place if you need to simply go and chill making this as my preferred local bar. Only feedback, if the music volume could be made more louder:)

I just discovered it this week while visiting family in Edmonton. I dropped by mid-afternoon of Monday on my own for a beer and to check the place out. Great decor. Friendly staff. I brought some of those family members back for more drinks on Tuesday. Same great service. None of us has/had tried the food yet, but excellent specials available all through the week.

Great food - service was quick and food came quick, pricey tho - I had a Cesar and my partner had one cocktail and a beer, one appy and one entree we shared and the bill was $60 even tho the Cesar and beer were on drink special for Sunday.

Was there for Sunday branch this past weekend..it took too long to get the food, it was cold by the time we got it. We were bombarded with coffee during a busy period. The sauce on the eggs benedict was too rich. it's texture was like creamed butter by the spoon. To top that they imposed 18% gratuity on groups. . Undeserved in this case. Nice place and good atmosphere but unlikely to return. Veronica

It was just okay. The drink menu was excellent but pricy, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but the food was average, especially considering the price. Dinner, drinks, and an app was $100 for us, and we had two drinks each, shared and app, and each had their basic burger. The burger was on the overcooked side and didn't wow, but also wasn't bad either. The fries were definitely overdone, which is such a shame because they looked handcut. The gravy was floury. The fried cauliflower was excellent. They were out of the tomahawk chop, so my friend was disappointed. We'd consider going again for drinks and apps.

Unfortunately, Harts was an epic failure for us tonight. We were a party of three. We waited easily 45 minutes for our food. We ordered two club sandwiches and the My wife's Favorite Salad. Sides were a salad, French Onion soup, and. Cauliflower soup. The sandwiches were simply below par. The bread was dry, stale, and simply unacceptable. After discussing we decided to send both sandwiches back. When the cauliflower soup arrived it was tepid at best. We sent it back for a reheat and it was actually so salty that it left our guest coughing. We spoke with the Manager who, while assuring us that this was not the norm, was clearly upset with the process. It was very embarassing to have to (a) send back food that was unacceptable and (b) have to have an intense conversation about the food. Our server was FANTASTIC about the whole ordeal. This was my second time at Hart's. The first time was no better. The manager did buy a round of drinks for our table, but actually forgot the third person sitting there and then mixed up the drinks when they were sent out. This was my birthday dinner. Complete and utter disaster. I can count on one hand the number of times in three plus decades that I have sent food back. Disappointing from beginning to end which is sad, really, because this is a neighbourhood business and we want so badly to support local. You think after such a debacle the manager would have sent us off into the evening with confidence in his establishment. Kudos to our server for being a decent human. It honest to god killed me to drop $25 for two drinks. 😡

My husband and I live in Winnipeg, but we’ve been coming to Hart’s whenever we visit my siblings who both live close by. It is so nice to have a classy place with a great drink/food menu for a nice night out that is only a short cab-ride away. I think this is the fifth time we have been there as a group (since December 2015), and we will definitely be back. It was the perfect holiday celebration before my husband and I began our long, cold drive home today.

My first time at Hart's for our staff party and boss's birthday celebration. We were greeted with very friendly, courteous and prompt servers. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! I had the curried salmon and it was so good I am still thinking about it! All of the other dishes had by our party looked very appetizing and the portions were very large and everyone enjoyed it! I also really enjoyed my specialty drink, the Dragon's Breathe Mojito... so yummy!! Well done! I will be dining here again!

Hey FB Family, If you haven't heard of or checked out this gem of a restaurant... why not?!! We had the pleasure of celebrating a friend's birthday there and it was terrific! The 7 of us had lunch there today, our first visit, and most certainly, not our last. "Darren'(one of the managers) greeted us warmly, as if we were guests in his home, and 'Superman' Shane our handsome server, took care of the rest. We ordered several items off their one page 'something for everyone' menu and drinks. With 2 vegetarians in the group, we had no trouble ordering( BBQ Chick Pea Burger-the best) and they're so flexible with special requests! Portions are very generous, especially the yummy Beet Salad and Colossal Chocolate Cake. OMG. the 5 of us couldn't finish this decadent piece of heaven. At first glance, the prices may seem a bit higher than other places, but wait until you get your food,,,Hart's is not like other places. The entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you Darren and team, we'll be baaaaaack! :D

Harts is one of my favourite experiences i have ever had to encounter! Just when I thought the service was great the food got even better, I would highly recommend coming here for a night out to relax with friends, or even a place to take that special someone out for date night! Thanks for always treating my friends and I so great :)

Fantastic atmosphere, amazing staff. Even had the one manager by our table. When he found out it was our first time he gave us coupons for free meals for brunch. The food was wonderful... only thing I would change would be to have real bacon bits in the Caesar salad rather than the hard simulated kind. But definitely not a desk breaker.

Best Brunch in Edmonton! My friend and I shared the chicken and waffles and carrot cake pancakes, and it was incredible! Our food came out super quickly, and the staff was extremely friendly. The GM checked on every single table while we were there, which is awesome. Well worth the drive from St. Albert! If you haven't checked this place out yet you need to!

Was our first time there, atmosphere was fantastic. Live band. We sat at the bar until our tables was ready. I had to go ask again fo a table. The chairs are very low at the bar. I felt like they didn't want us to have a table because it was only the two of us. Other then that the service was fantastic, food was great. It looked like there was a couple of managers walking around making sure everyone was well taken care of. We didn't get asked, but I was impressed by that service. We last min decided to go for dinner and found this place by mistake looking for a nice neighborhood pup and some where different to eat.

All in all I would go again! ***

It was good. Meat tray was very poor as the meats were old and dried out. Wine menu is good and offers a lot of choice.

I moved to Edmonton last month and decided to check out local pubs around our neighbourhood last Friday evening where we saw Harts and decided to give it a try. We were a group of 3 friends and as soon we entered in we were greeted by an adorable lass, later introduced her name as Simone, was very personable and comforting. She made us available to the kind of seating we were eyeing and intermittently came to our table to check how we are doing and nicely told us to try coming again tomorrow as they have specials on bottled beers (my weakness!). The starters, although limited, were fine but the bar menu really caught my attention. Splendid collection of beers and wine. We again went back on Saturday and had real good time. I will definitely recommend this place if you need to simply go and chill making this as my preferred local bar. Only feedback, if the music volume could be made more louder:)

I just discovered it this week while visiting family in Edmonton. I dropped by mid-afternoon of Monday on my own for a beer and to check the place out. Great decor. Friendly staff. I brought some of those family members back for more drinks on Tuesday. Same great service. None of us has/had tried the food yet, but excellent specials available all through the week.

Great food - service was quick and food came quick, pricey tho - I had a Cesar and my partner had one cocktail and a beer, one appy and one entree we shared and the bill was $60 even tho the Cesar and beer were on drink special for Sunday.

Was there for Sunday branch this past weekend..it took too long to get the food, it was cold by the time we got it. We were bombarded with coffee during a busy period. The sauce on the eggs benedict was too rich. it's texture was like creamed butter by the spoon. To top that they imposed 18% gratuity on groups. . Undeserved in this case. Nice place and good atmosphere but unlikely to return. Veronica

It was just okay. The drink menu was excellent but pricy, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but the food was average, especially considering the price. Dinner, drinks, and an app was $100 for us, and we had two drinks each, shared and app, and each had their basic burger. The burger was on the overcooked side and didn't wow, but also wasn't bad either. The fries were definitely overdone, which is such a shame because they looked handcut. The gravy was floury. The fried cauliflower was excellent. They were out of the tomahawk chop, so my friend was disappointed. We'd consider going again for drinks and apps.

First time at Hart's last evening with my husband. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Felt the music was at a good level to still have conversation. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was good. The not nachos were tasty but difficult to pick up because too thin. But tasty. Overall enjoyed the experience. Will go back.

Unfortunately, Harts was an epic failure for us tonight. We were a party of three. We waited easily 45 minutes for our food. We ordered two club sandwiches and the My wife's Favorite Salad. Sides were a salad, French Onion soup, and. Cauliflower soup. The sandwiches were simply below par. The bread was dry, stale, and simply unacceptable. After discussing we decided to send both sandwiches back. When the cauliflower soup arrived it was tepid at best. We sent it back for a reheat and it was actually so salty that it left our guest coughing. We spoke with the Manager who, while assuring us that this was not the norm, was clearly upset with the process. It was very embarassing to have to (a) send back food that was unacceptable and (b) have to have an intense conversation about the food. Our server was FANTASTIC about the whole ordeal. This was my second time at Hart's. The first time was no better. The manager did buy a round of drinks for our table, but actually forgot the third person sitting there and then mixed up the drinks when they were sent out. This was my birthday dinner. Complete and utter disaster. I can count on one hand the number of times in three plus decades that I have sent food back. Disappointing from beginning to end which is sad, really, because this is a neighbourhood business and we want so badly to support local. You think after such a debacle the manager would have sent us off into the evening with confidence in his establishment. Kudos to our server for being a decent human. It honest to god killed me to drop $25 for two drinks. 😡
