Hathaway'S Diner & Best Choice Catering Ltd

Wow. Just wow. The service is spectacular. I instantly felt welcome the moment I walked in the door. The ladies working are very pleasent and accommodating. OH! How could I forget how quickly my order (The Big breakfast) came out! I was shocked! Small diner. But lots of personality. I drove all the way from the south side as I wanted breakfast and didnt know where to go! So i went to google for help! Definitely will be bringing friends here.



As im writing this my coffee and water has been topped up AND I've been invited back to try Pam's pie!



I come from a small town. And the one thing I've always admired about a small town that i struggle to find in a big city is the close hospitality. And this diner has it. Kudos to Pam and her Husband. And thank you for an amazing experience.

Between my first review (above) and now, I have brought many people to this diner. And today was my Dads first time. He loved it! I told him before we left the house that Pam does such a GREAT job at creating such a warm environment and today he agreed. Thanks again to Pam and her Husband for providing great speedy service and (as always) amazing eats!

Wow! Service is impeccable and the meal was first rate, the plated was being set down within mere minutes upon ordering. The freshest products used to create a wonderful tasty meal. One of these days I must save room to try their amazing pies. I can see my family visiting this establishment for many years to come.

Why did I wait so long to eat here?! Lower ambient lighting and a cozy small seating area makes it a very comfortable setting. The food is diner food of amazing quality you can tell there is a sense of pride by the cook in the meal you are served. Wife/husband run establishment and I highly recommend eating here.



Ps. The home-made pie is delicious.



Waitress had great timing for visiting table(not when you've a mouthful of food), very fast to offer refreshing your coffee. I didn't catch her name to give proper kudo's but �

We've been going there for 20 years since our children played community league sports with the owners. I now live by Elk Island Park and still enjoy the friendly staff & good food when we're in the city & go by for a meal. I would highly recommend this you try it for yourself. Don't let the possible line up out their small entry scare you, the wait is well worth it.

We had breakfast there for the first time today. Can’t get over the amazing food and such friendly staff!!! It’s our new breakfast place for sure!!

This place is exactly what one would expect it to be. It's comfortable, friendly and you can sense family. The food comes swiftly and it is delicious (I can only attest to the breakfast items). We live in the neighborhood of Hathaway's, but if we didn't, I imagine we would mosey on to the NW of Edmonton just to enjoy it again.

The service here is always incredible. I get treated like family every time I go. It's become a Saturday morning tradition for me ever since I moved into the neighborhood. The food is incredible, the staff are attentive and the atmosphere rocks.

The best breakfast I have ever had! The staff is very welcoming and the food comes out fast and delicious. I had the omelette with hash browns and toast and everything was perfect! Best breakfast spot in Edmonton. �

Omg the best eggs Benedict I've ever had! And I normally don't like hollandaise sauce! Theirs is out of this world! Hubby and me wanted to try something local and good this morning, and we were not disappointed! Needless to say we will be back!

My daughter Ryan and partner Carl first brought me there while Wayne was golfing and it was really a great treat, hospitality, service and food absolutely wonderful, so I brought Wayne and he felt the same as I did. A really friendly atmosphere.

Loved it! From the moment we walked in - until we walked out the door - the experience was wonderful! The friendly greeting - amazing and prompt service - yummy food! Eager to try their weekend eggs bennies!

It was my first time there yesterday as I had heard good things I was pleasantly surprised to find they were true. Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and delicious food. I was delighted to find the club sandwiches had real turkey just like back east and don't ask me about the coconut pie! I'm still not over how good it was!

It is a treat to come to Hathaway's! You feel like family when you walk in the door. I've yet to be disappointed by a meal, the home-made pie is like nothing else, and my coffee cup was never empty!

I would strongly suggest trying the food here. Its a small place (seats mabe 50) and there is usually a bit of a line, but, no matter how long the line is I always wait. It's worth it every time.

I stopped in on Friday for the first time, and it is excellent!



Food was great, as was the service, and the owners very friendly.



In conversation, they said they married each other for their signature recipes. I have to say, given how my meal turned out, it was obviously a marriage in heaven.



I'd highly recommend to anyone, especially those wanting what is hard to find anymore: a diner that isn't like the cookie cutter chains, with food that tastes home-made - because it is.

I love coming back to my childhood neighbourhood to this wonderful establishment ! (Which once was the beloved Wellington Bakery��) The food is fantastic; homemade heaven! The team and service are so spectacular❣ They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for. My dad had lunch there yesterday & they were so kind and accommodating. May I also say great "Happy Birthday" singers too�. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

I don't live in Wellington anymore and I miss being able to walk to Hathaway's for brunch. It's so worth the drive, though!! Literally everything on the menu is amazing and the staff is just tremendous! If you go more than once, they will remember you--its like Cheers but with Eggs Benedict and friggin' amazing coffee! I'd give it ten stars if I could.
