Heaven Can Wait Animal Rescue Foundation

We got both our cats at Heaven Can Wait this summer. Without angels like these organizations there would be far too many animals suffering or not given the opportunity to be loved as they deserve. Thank you for everything you do for these animals, you’re an inspiration and thank you for helping us find our sweet cats, life wasn’t complete without them �

We cant say Enough about HCW truly an amazing organization we have nothing but good things to say! We got our beautiful Evie from HCW thanks! Keep up the amazing work you are doing we love you guys to pieces! We also take our dogs to room to run Kennel as well and our dogs Scooby and Evie love it we are at such ease when we go away knowing they are well taken care of. They are treated like family I love it! :0)

We adopted our Nova from HCW in September. There isn't a team more dedicated to the safety, care and well being of animals than Kim, her employees and volunteers. Simply wonderful work and relentlessly committed to placing the right animal with the right family.

They really go above and beyond to help all the animals that they can. Once they feel they are ready for adoption they make sure they go to the best homes where they will be properly cared for and loved

Rescued multiple animals in our family from Heaven Can Wait and volunteered too. The joy one can bring to these animals is so rewarding. Kim has an amazing establishment she has worked so hard for and dedicates every single minute of her day for the love of these pets. Adopt don’t shop. See how beautiful these rescues truly are!

Outstanding - they do their homework both before and after the adoption takes place and do their very best to find a home for every animal that comes their way. It's been a year since we adopted a cat from them and he has been an integral part of the family from the moment he came home. You would be hard-pressed to find a better place to adopt a pet.

One of the best (if not THE best) rescue foundations around. Kim is very professional and her first priority is the well being of all her rescue animals. Her devotion to pets and animals is unmatched! I am truly in awe of Kim and think of her as one of the few people I would use the word HERO to describe. Thank you Kim!

Kim and her staff are true angels, who are selfless in their care for these wonderful animals. This is a wonderful place for animals to come and feel safe when they are lost, or abandoned. They care for their physical, and spiritual needs. I was lucky to adopt a wonderful Dog, Jackson from here, who has in turn brought happiness into my life!

Kim and Angie and all the other folks at Heaven Can Wait are so loving and kind to the animals that come their way! They have hearts of gold! Thank you for caring for all the creatures who need you!

I just surrendered 3 kittens to HCW after having already rehomed the mother and 1 kitten myself. I had spent time, energy and around $400 in vet bills etc and made sure that they were spayed/neutered. After some confusion with another rescue, i contacted a good friend who works in a rescue out of town, and 2 days later, the kittens are on their way

I have never met a more caring, passionate and selfless person in my life than Kim from Heaven Can Wait. My family and I have had the privilege of getting to know her over the years, and she really does go above and beyond for every single animal she comes in contact with as well as their handlers. From the countless answered phone calls when we were seeking advice, to offering to help when we found barn kittens with bad eye infections, to hand picking the PERFECT pup to fit in to our family... Kim puts 110% into everything she does and puts the animals way above herself even. No words to describe how thankful and truly blessed this community and this world is to have Kim.

I got my most recent dog from these wonderful people. She needed them and they helped her to find me -she has been a gift from Heaven. Most lovable dog I have ever had. We all should adopt, spay and neuter so Kim can retire. Until that happens she and animals need our help.

Heaven Can Wait is an extremely well run rescue organization. Kim always puts the animals needs first, providing them high quality food, excellent vet care, excellent socialization with people and other animals, and a safe, loving place to stay while they wait for their forever home. Every volunteer I met was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. It is obvious that everyone at Heaven Can Wait is passionate about helping all animals find their forever home. We adopted a dog through Heaven Can Wait and their adoption process was incredibly thorough and we felt very supported if we had any questions or concerns about our potential adoptee along the way, including during the trial period. They are incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to pass on that knowledge. I have nothing but positive things to say about Heaven Can Wait and am so glad we adopted through them!

She's extremely thorough with animal placement, we adopted a puppy and could not be happier with how well he has fit into our lives! Not only does HCW ensure animals are given a clean bill of health before adoption, they also take the time to socialize/train so the animal is set-up for success within your 10 day trial. Along with supporting you after the adoption - this speaks volumes! If you're looking to rescue a dog or cat, Kim and staff will do everything they can to ensure it's a great fit for you!
