Heavy Iron is a construction equipment sales and rental company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The primary focus at Heavy Iron is to rent 20 to 65 ton construction equipment into the Western Canadian marketplace. We have over 50 pcs in our current rental inventory including 20 – 65 ton Excavators, 12-25 ton CAT /JD dozers, 10 ton Vibratory Rollers, 25 ton 815F Cat Compactors, 30 ton JD /Volvo Articulated trucks, and Cat 140 /143 and14H graders.

In addition to rentals, Heavy Iron has also made many contacts with OEM dealers over the years in the US and Canada. We frequently quote our clientele surplus and rental returned equipment, with our focus being late model (1000-2500 hr) Iron. Our feedback over the years has been very positive as we make sure all equipment is thoroughly Dealer inspected, oil sampled where applicable, Computer fault codes taken and addressed and all OEM product upgrades (PIP’s) completed. We then proceed to arrange shipping /customs and all importation of the equipment into Canada with final delivery into the customers yard. This has proven to be a very cost effective option for many of our clients to purchase next to new equipment.
