Calgary represents what Alberta is all about. It’s a cosmopolitan city with some world-class events (hello Stampede! ) but it’s also not too far from some of the best wilderness you can find in Canada — Banff National Park. Get your city fix in Calgary before heading out to the mountains. HI-Calgary City Centre is right downtown and close to the C-Train, which offers free transit around the city. Our staff and volunteers are happy to host regular activities for our guests, giving you the chance to get the lay of the land while meeting fellow hostellers. Or, you can just hang out in one of our common areas or kick back in our sunny, spacious backyard.

The staff have been incredible. Couldn't do enough for us! We found ourselves a little stuck when it came to booking an all male/coed dorm but they were so accommodating and friendly! Superb!!

The staff are nice, the dorms are clean and there is a game room very interresting ! So, two thumbs up !!
Had a very good time. Staff is super nice and location is seconds away from downtown and the street car that's free in the downtown area. Definitely would recommend!

Klasse Hostel mit leckeren pancakes (gratis) und nettem Personal.
Its a good pick for me because i just needed a room for one night.Actually i am not comfortable sharing a room but its my choice. Its closed to the US embassy and bus to the airport.Great experience
It's close from City hall station. And friendly staff, free drink, clean. I would like to use this hostel again. Only One thing I didn't like was that there're few outlets at one place in our room, so we had to charge our own phone by turns. It was inconvenient.

Cool place with cool people at an awesome place. Safe, and even has programs. Only down is the amount of homeless people in the area but they are harmless
It's a great location, pretty clean however it's next door to a construction site - so don't expect to sleep in long.
Looks like a great place to stay but tried to stay there one night during stampede and the guy at front desk tried charging me over $70 for a dorm room. I left.
