Dr. Caroline Navarrete
Carolina completed her degree in Optometry at The University of La Salle, Bogotá, Colombia in 1992. She owned her own private optometry practice in Bogotá, 1993-2002. At this time she also worked in optometry unit at a local hospital. In 2002 she moved to Toronto, Canada. In 2007 she started the International Optometric Bridging Program in University of Waterloo, Ontario. In 2008 she worked; on a voluntary basis, in several general optometry practices in Ontario. In 2011 she moved to Edmonton, AB , becoming involved in several general optometry practices. Carolina joined the Millwoods and Westmont Vision Care team as an Optometrist in January 2013. In September 2013 she started working in her own practices in Edmonton, and at the Slave Lake Eye Care Centre. To get closer to her Northern Albertan patients , she opened her new location at the Swan River Health Centre in Kinuso, Alberta. She speaks English and Spanish.
