Wow! I placed my order on Sunday and it arrived to my door on Friday. It was a custom blanked with red buffalo plaid on one side and geometric shapes on the other. I was super impressed. I told my son it would take about a month to arrive.

We picked up our second Hippo Hug blanket on Friday. The first is years old and still going strong, but my guy has gotten much bigger! That one is still used often for travel and/or a lap blanket, but he was THRILLED to get his new more grown up and heavier blanket. Our Hippo Hugs weighted blanket has made a huge difference for my son. He’s falling asleep at least 30 mins faster, hasn’t had a night terror, restless legs, or epic meltdowns he used to have since using one. I've had my blanket for about a year. I got it during a period of intense stress (moving) and it has made a world of difference. Many of my problem behaviours have been toned down as a result of this blanket and I couldn't be more happy with it.

I was first introduced to Hippo Hug at an information night at Lymph Balance Center in S.W. Calgary. I tried a lap blanket and was pleasantly surprised. I went to their store, tried a couple to find a good fit and was able to bring one home to ‘try before I buy’. After a couple of days I went back to the store and found a proper fit and bought a blanket. I am falling asleep faster and getting a more restful sleep!

I recently bought a weighted blanket for my 85 year old grandfather as I had read that it might help him sleep. He has to take a lot of pills, and so they give him restless legs and some anxiety.
