Join us on Wednesday July 11th from 9am-11am for the third annual Home & Away Stampede Breakfast and patio hootenanny. We will be working the grill to serve up some classic Stampede breakfast fare. Get your pals together, everyone (including kids) are welcome!

About KidSport: ... We believe that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.
We do this by: -Raising funds to provide sport opportunities for kids facing financial barriers. -Promoting the KidSport mission to other community agencies with a view to creating strategic alliances to support sport participation and physical activity opportunities for kids. -Advocating the importance of all kids having access to sport programs and advocate the value and benefit of kids playing sport in the pursuit of lifelong health and wellness.

Watched the gold medal world juniors here. It was packed and really busy but service was excellent and food was good

The wings are really good. The bartenders are great. The DJs are skilled. The games are fun! I like this spot.

My usual go to when I'm in Calgary. Great atmosphere and good food. I definitely recommend the Tennessee Harvest off their drink menu. It's delicious!

Last week I was in town to take in the NY Rangers vs Calgary Flames game. Stumbled upon this place while looking for a Greek restaurant and I decided to give it a try. Soon as I walked in I was blown away by the set up.



The bartender kept bringing drinks my way without having to ask & the Cuban sandwich hit the spot.



Jordan the manager was very cool. Dropped everything and told me what places are good to go see & even recommended me a good place to go to when in Edmonton (since I was going there later that week for a Rangers Oilers game)



Very thankful to Jordan and the staff at Home and Away. Next time I come back to Calgary; I'll be visiting this place again.

What happed Home & Away? Last spring and summer we were visiting you three times a month. Yesterday with some sunny weather we headed over to grab dinner and a drink. We arrived at 6:35, found a place to sit and after a few minutes we ordered three drinks. Our drinks took over 20 minutes, then our waitress said she would come back to take our food order. In this time the restaurant did get even more packed, I saw a lot of people waiting for drinks too. I saw other people arrive and leave before we placed our food order. It was 7:10 when we placed our food order, that was not our delay, we knew when we choose to go to your establishment what we were ordering. Then food took 45 minutes, or if you prefer 44:52. What gives! Your staff coverage is terrible. Don’t open your patio if you don’t have the staff to cover it. Sure on a hot day that’s terrible too, but worse is horrendous service. 2-3 minutes at a time would go by where I saw no staff of any kind on the patio or our area. We were there for 2 ½ hours. You need to seriously improve your kitchen service and staff levels.



To people considering Home & Away, the atmosphere is great, location is great, prices are as expected, food is fine to memorable, but it is slow!

Service was okay, 3/5. She took away our plate without asking if we were done but aside from that she was around if we needed her.



The food was underwhelming at best. $13 for a small skillet of "Deluxe Fries" that was smaller and more bland than a McD large fry? No thanks.



The chicken was okay, but some pieces were dry and not very flavorful. Safeway rotisserie chicken would have been cheaper and tastier. Reviews definitely made it seem better, maybe things have changed?



Overall definitely a miss. Didn't want to complain at the time since I was just hungry and wanted to eat but definitely left feeling like we didn't get our money's worth.

My husband and I like to have eat here with our son after his swimming lesson. We like that the arcade games are free on Sundays and they have a brunch menu. The food is very tasty however the service is very poor. It can take 20-30 min before we place our order and another 30 min before we get our food! Not ideal for people with a toddler! Today we went with some friends, and we waited almost 30 min before our order was taken, which resulted with one of the orders being incorrect. It took an additional 15 min to get her a new plate, by that time the rest of our food was cold. We had to ask for more coffee and hot water, our waitress never came by for refills. Too bad since the atmosphere is pretty nice.

Completely based on lack of customer service.

Went to a friend's birthday which was booked 1 month in advance for 20ish people.

There was not enough room at the allotted table so we were asked to sit at another table across the aisle. When we asked if we could push the table together so everyone could sit together they were unwilling to accommodate as it's a fire hazard and it messes up the server's normal aisle. However there would have been a double wide aisle now to get to fire exit which actually led straight to exit door.

Later because the aisles were so tight in between table there was a collision and waitress dropped/ spilled drinks over birthday boy. Stuff happens but the waitress huffed and then gave the most insincere apology. If tables were pushed together mind you there would be a double wide aisle to get around everyone.

Needless to say if venue had planned properly whole group should have been together there were plenty of solutions.

The venue and food were both probably a 4, but based on inconsiderate customer service to none at all I think it evens out to a 2. Unless I'm going to this venue to support someone else for an event I would not return willingly.
