No appliances were here, which I can't fault them for. The flooring area was not marked to be easily seen. I had to hunt for info on things.
An employee did ask if I needed help, which was nice, but then just pointed to the end of an aisle, where the hunting began.
If you know your way around, it might be okay, but I've had better experiences elsewhere.

I suggest hiring people who are helpful and friendly, especially if they’re working the customer service desk. The store is massive and It would be nice if staff knew where to find items. Also, update your website, if there are items “in stock”, it should be ready on the floor for purchase, not in the back room somewhere in a tote or in transit. Some people don’t want to spend 30 min. or more when they’ve come for a specific item.

They have some good stuff but you sure do need patience while you wait in line.

went in store 2 weeks ago to purchase $1500 worth of bathroom items. No one in that department to help me. Painting lady helped me, took 1 hour to locate 2 items, waited as I wanted to pick up that day and purchase. No forklift operator on duty. Decided not to go back after terrible experience. 2 weeks later they had a 20% off sale, figured I'd give them another try. Went in Friday night to purchase and pick-up, even rented a truck. Nope...no staff in that department even though it was the first day of a sale and once again no forklift operator on duty to help get the items down. Lady told me to purchase online and i can pick up in store 2 hours later, ordered online at 9am, email recieved saying items are ready to pick up. Arrive in store at 11am, dealt with 5 staff to locate my items. Two hours later they find my vanity and bathtub, wrong items, not even close to what I ordered. another 2 hours (yep 4 hours total in store) they finally find my stuff. Staff were friendly but they all sure did complain about management and terrible operations of the location. I am planning on spending $15,000+ in home renos in the next 2 years, will not be giving that business to this company. Hopefully Lowes can turn this place around next year.

was looking online for a product, the store said it had 3 in stock, so i figured good they will have it, it took 5 days of calling back to the store every day, and going through the same thing with all the people i talked to. had one guy take my number at 6 pm and he said there are some in the back ill call you back, no return call, so i called again, got transffered around 3 times and 28 mins later someone talked to me, i gave them the item number and they said they show no stock, so i said the internet says 3 on hand, ok sir what was that number again, oh yah ok it says we have 3 but there not here because we have never sold that item, so i said if i order it online to come pick it up in 2 hrs will it be there or will someone be reimbursing me for the 2 hrs of driving ill be doing, we dont have it sir, i said dont you do inventory , they said yes we did it last year, i said i hope you take it out of your system so the next person doesnt get frustrated with the same situation. this person said you dont understand inventory sometimes its here and sometimes its not, i just happen to be a parts manager of a very large parts department so i think i do know inventory, i didnt say that to them because i could tell this person just wanted to get rid of me so they said sorry it isnt here have a nice night. not the first time ive heard of this happening. sorry to say it but customer service has hit an all time low in rona stores, very frustrating coming to these stores, you know exactly how you will be treated as soon as you see someone and they quickly go by you with there head down knowing they dont want to help you, just like the customer service number ive been on hold for 28 mins while ive been writing this, thanks rona good job

This is the closest reno store to my house, i go here if its something quick. The dude in the lumber department is usually helpful. The plumbing section (which i frequent) is a complete mess. More parts in the wrong bins than the right ones. Common parts are understocked. Garden centre has not disappointed. Rarely have enough workers on the tills during weekend rush, avg wait bout 10 min. Weekdays its okay. If you need a pile of stuff for a reno, head to a different store because you will be going to another one anyways for the 5 things you cant find.

Horrible. No one could bother to actually help me find what I was looking for. Finally left my shopping cart and went to home Depot. There I was assisted with finding what I needed easily. Can I give negative stars?

Friday at 20:00. The posted store hours say it is open to 22:00 yet there is no one at the paint desk. 5 minutes after a page from customer service I'm told by an employee that the paint tech is on break & may be 10 or 15 minutes. If there was a "zero" star rating I would be giving it to the Rona on Macleod Tr.

Over the past 3 months of multiple Reno projects at home, I've been in here at least 50 times. Here are my findings: If You're REALLY REALLY lucky, they might have 2 staff members working in the entire store. Good luck if it's plumbing or electrical. Not like it's a recession or anything with ample people to hire and work these areas. Paint is hit or miss. I usually wait 5-10 mins before I go to costumer service and demand a manager come mix paint if they can't hire enough employees. I have never once been in this store and been able to find assistance within the first 10 minutes of looking. And 50% of the time when I finally get someone, they're from a random department that has no specialty in the area I'm looking, rendering them slightly above useless. Happy renovating!!

Had a very bad experience last year, I ordered a whole bunch of cabinets that their system said was in stock, but not at all! I waited 2 weeks for their arrival and they did not come in stock!
After going through a big pain for returning them, getting back my money was also a major issue! They had to wait for a supervisor or a manager who worked only 9 to 5 and was on lunch break every day so I had to take time off of work.
Some of the staff were rude and had the eye rolling attitude! and from time to time kept saying we don't believe what you are saying and you have to show more proof that we did not deliver your items (duh?? I showed you pictures of what I ad received with the delivery guy in it!)

An oh btw, half of the cabinets that I received where the wrong items! The whole process of purchasing and getting a refund took almost two months! NEVER GOING BACK

Had the product I required and helped loading and unloading when I returned product. Would have been more convenient if they would have known that their vinyl flooring was not covered under warranty and not recommended to be installed on in-floor heated basement floor even though I asked if a vapour barrier was required with such an install. Had to return 65 boxes, however there was no issues returning. Some items are cheaper, for example: regular price of 12" miter saw blades are cheaper here than most places, some items are more expensive, but overall comparable. They have some specialty finishing products I will be looking into when I am at that stage.
