Home & Garden Rona (Permanently Closed)

You guys mayswell be closed for your renos, as once you walk around all the unmarked isles and finally find what you want, you cant get it cause that area is blocked off for overhead light repair etc. Save your reno for non open hours or ensure all product is accessable at all time. Total waste of my time!!

They are doing lots of renovation since Lowe's brought them but staffs are super helpful if you can find them.

I was at this Rona today and I can't believe how poor the service was. I was talking to a sales person when his in store phone began to ring. He answered it and put his hand in front of my face as a sign for me not to talk. It's like his phone call was more important than me, the customer. The reality is that he wouldn't even have a phone or a job for that matter if it wasn't for me the customers. My advice is by pass Rona and go to Home Depot. At least they know how to treat you with respect.

Very poor customer service. Usually I shop at competition but I was in the neighboorhood and I thought I gave it a try. Asked for help and I was told that somebody will be paged to help me. Waited and waited...Went back to the front, got the same response, somebody will be paged to help. Same story, waited and waited...Went back to the front, bunch of kids (about 6 of them) just hanging around...Just left. We'll shop somewhere else. Thought things changed at Rona, giving the status of the economy. Some poor customer service as in the past.

We are renovating our bathroom. After searching around town we finally decided which floor tile we wanted. We drove to this Rona store and purchased $1000 worth of tile on a Friday morning. The clerk knew there was a sale starting Saturday morning and gave us the discounted price of $15% off. It made a large difference to our total, and really made our day. I will be back there for more supplies, for sure.

Cashiers are friendly, store is usually tidy. Would like if the staff were more familiar with the areas they work in, particularly the paint centre.

Best to move on to another store. This Rona has been a very poor customer service experience for many so many times. Most of the check out people are so afraid to do something wrong they just say no when you ask for something out of the ordinary. Mostly depends who you get though. One just flat out lies to you. I have been given the run around here for asking to price beat items because they think it's too good of a deal and require manager approval to beat the price. It's ridiculous!!
Good luck finding a staff member that can actually help you after supper time!! You couldn't find someone on the floor if you tried.
Just save yourself the time and go to a different Rona. I hope Lowes sorts this store out and gets rid of the crap employees.
