Hey everyone! Christmas is approaching and Nancy is getting antsy! ­¤śē Christmas baking is a big tradition in our family, and we would like to share it with you! We will be selling our goodies on December 2 from 10-3 at the Grimshaw Legion Market. If you have been missing NancyŌĆÖs amazing baking, hereŌĆÖs your chance to stock up! We will have her homemade pies, fresh and frozen. HomegrownŌĆÖs famous cinnamon buns, puffed wheat and Rice Krispie squares. Assorted Christmas goodies and trays. Cabbage rolls ready for the oven. Well everyone Homegrown Cafe is officially out of food! Sadly we will not be open tomorrow ­¤śó. Thank you to all who made it in this week for one last Homegrown meal or two! Much love to you all!

It is with a heavy heart and teary eyes as we announce that Homegrown Cafe will be closing it's doors. It has been an honour and privilege to serve our food from the heart to the Peace Country. We are beyond grateful for all the support and love you have given us in return. Running a small business has been both a blessing and a challenge. Much experience and knowledge has been gained. It has been a fantastic adventure but Nancy has decided that it is time to hang up the apron...for now. Charity is anticipating the next step in her career path, and currently seeking employment (wink wink)! We hope that you can come gather at our table one final time during these last few weeks! The staff were awesome and the homemade food even better. I'm from Edmonton and my colleague from cold lake ... We both highly recommend you go eat here we even bought 4 huge cookies and a cinnamon bun

Called in for a take out and was ready just as I arrived. Fries were great and clubhouse was excellent with real turkey. Also had chicken poutine and beef dip which were large portions and freshly made. This is a good value restaurant and worth the short drive out of Peace River.
