We would like to welcome 8 sweet babies into the world! Opal had her first baby early yesterday morning and began to have trouble with the rest as the day passed. Her loving foster parents had to rush her in to the Vet for an emergency C Section. After crashing on the table from shock, the wonderful Dr's at Hamptons Animal Hospital / Spay & Neuter Centre were able to save Opal's life and her 8 babies. A HUGE Thank you to Dr. Anton, Dr. Kooyman and their amazing staff for staying later to save all their little lives including Mom. Also to her loving foster parents Sue and Mike for being so diligent on her care and loving her through this. Welcome to the world little ones!!!

Description: Alaric is in doggy bootcamp with our friends at K9 Misfits right now getting training on how to be the best dog he can be. Alaric is a very sweet dog who is full of love and life. Alaric loves being outside and will stay out all day if it was his choice. He is still learning boundaries and manners however, he learns quickly. Alaric has learned his name, sit, shake a paw, hi five, bed, come, and is getting better when people come over. He has lots of energy and needs someone who can help him continue learning control and how to be the best dog he can be.

Hey I'm Alaric, they call me weird Al probably because I'm a giant goofball. As a high energy guy I need lots of exercise, but lucky for you mental stimulation tires me out faster than physical exercise. We do all sorts of fun stuff like tug o war, walking in figure eights and climbing on the playground. Then afterwards I like to settle onto the couch for some chew time with my favorite toy or bone until eventually I fall asleep, which is usually upside down! I have mastered several doggy commands like sit, lay down, and shake a paw. I'm past all that puppy stuff so I never have accidents in the house and go into my crate willingly when its work or bed time. My foster mom says we're "working on some stuff" right now, like stay and not barking at ghosts. Little does she know, I can already do those things, I just like to see what I can get away with! If you think we'd be a good fit, apply now! Al's your pal 😉

Sparkle had a bit of a sad story before she came to us. Her owner sadly passed away and no one from the family could take her on. That's when a friend from the owner's apartment complex reached out to us to see if we could help . DOB: approx 9 months Domestic longhair Spayed female Dogs: Yes Cats unknown Kids: yes Sparkle is coming out of her shell more and more each day. She loves to be brushed and is ok being picked up and snuggled. She is a super sweet girl, and becoming more and more comfortable in her surroundings. Sparkle would make an amazing family member and snuggle buddy.

Our sweet girl Aspen was surrendered back into our care awhile back through no fault of her own This past weekend she was officially adopted by an amazing family & previous adopters
We know for sure this is a match made in heaven !! Good luck sweet girl we’re over the moon with this match ❤️🐾

There are angels walking on earth and many of them are involved with Hope Lives Here. We are the lucky family that was able to welcome Izzy into it. Our lives have been enriched immensely...

From the first communication with Chelsea, to the meet and greet with Elliot & Claire, this has been the most wonderful experience. Everyone is so very involved with the adoption process, and are genuinely thrilled when an animal finds a match. Izzy's amazing fosters (Elliot & Claire) are special souls to whom we are so very grateful. They have answered questions, checked in on her & kept in touch, after the fact. We decided to keep the name they gave her as a tribute to their open hearts.

Izzy is everything her bio said she was. It's been a very accurate description of her. For anyone considering rescue, DO IT. Thank you Hope Lives Here!

I wanted to wait a few weeks before posting a review of my overall experience, so that our new fur Babe Betty could have time to adjust at home with us. I am so pleased to say she is fitting in amazingly , and is currently snoring away beside me! I know it took quite some time for HLH to make the purfect match and find Betty her forever home. I truly believe timing is everything and I think, by all the constant slobbery bully kisses I receive Betty agree's - It was worth the wait!!! The foster mom Kim drove quite the distance for our meet and greet and has stayed in touch even after Betty came to live with us, asking for updates and pics along the way! I was also pleased to find out during her first appt with our vet that there was nothing hidden from us regarding her health. Overall we are so happy & in love with Betty. Thank you HLH! Keep up the amazing work you all do every day!
