"I believe in my own opinion that it brings people closer together"
Because of you, hundreds of hungry people like Josh enjoyed a hot and hearty Thanksgiving dinner.
Many of our guests would not have experienced a Thanksgiving meal at all. But because of you, our neighbours across the city who feel the weight of loneliness and stretched budgets at holidays were fed - both their hungry bellies and hurting hearts.
... Take a moment to listen to Josh share his gratitude shortly after finishing his turkey dinner.

the hope mission changed my world for the better...much better...joining the breakout program believe it or not was only a small part of the change...they brought me closer to god. i felt foolish trying to pray....they taught me the power of prayer....i always thought i dont need to go to church....now i know the power of worship and the energy of being around like minded people....i am never embarassed of my faith...i talk to god many times a day...usually for guidance or forgiveness or patience and it always helps...then its thankfullness. they have taken on the task of feeding so many....clothing...housing....i get very defensive of the hope whenever i hear people being negative...i wonder if i would be alive today if it hadnt been for them....i will always be greatful for their guidance and patience....ther have opened my eyes to a better way of living life

Thanks to all people at the Hope Mission and the Breakout Recovery Community. I'm a better man today than I have ever been. Thank you to opening my eyes to Christ because of that I was able to open my heart

User

Thanks to Hope Missions Breakout Recovery Program, I don't have to worry about spending my days out in the cold of winter. With God's help, and the help of all the men and women who serve in and around the Hope Mission Community, I graduated from the Breakout Program. I have an apartment, clothes to wear and I know God will provide me with my next job, as I was laid off of my sales job in July. If through some misfortune, I didn't have my apartment anymore and I had to spend my days outside, I would go back to Hope Mission
