Horizon Housing

We work to ensure every Calgarian has a place to call home. More than 1, 100 low-income families and individuals have an affordable, integrated and supportive home with Horizon. We provide homes for people with a variety of backgrounds and experiences, including people living with mental health challenges, brain injuries, physical disabilities, those leaving addiction, homelessness and domestic violence, as well as individuals and families living below the poverty line. We own and operate eight apartment buildings and eight group homes across the city of Calgary. Our goal is to ensure our residents can enjoy a home free of judgement, full of hope and surrounded by a community of mutual respect and support. We use a mixed income, mixed use approach to help reduce stigma, promote community integration, and enhance quality of life for our residents. With over 35 partner agencies, our residents have access to the social supports they need to thrive.
