Horse Dance Equine Therapy

If anyone needs a horse worked on in standoff this weekend let me know. Bodywork....I work mainly with soft tissue....massage, essential oils, Bach flower remedies, energy work, magnets, and more........ I have no fancy equipment.... just good ole energy and myself to get your horse feeling good. $60 bucks a session will get you 1-2 hours of bodywork for your horse, depending on what your horse needs. Available sat morning for one horse, and have spots available for sat after the rodeo and again Sunday morning before the rodeo.

Did you know that a simple sheet test is a great way to check your saddle fit.... gives you a look into your horses world! Cut out a white sheet to fit a little bigger than your pad, put the sheet under your pad and tape to sides to hold in place. Ride your horse into a good sweat, take the sheet off and assess! A good sheet test will have nice even dirt marks throughout the sheet.
The picture below is of a saddle/pad combo that didnt fit this horse very well at the time. T...he darker dirt marks show their is more pressure in those areas along the lumbar area, there is some bridging (pressure in front and back but not in the middle) that is also present! I would add shims to this saddle to take away the bridging, and would do a new sheet test to check the fit!
Remember.... that a pad is so important and can excessively change the saddle fit! Play around with saddles, pads and shims! Do a new sheet test for every change you make, and remember to do a new sheet test if there are changes to your horses back due to age, fitness level, etc. A horses back shape can change all the time!
